Upptäck Islands fantastiska sydkust på detta heldagsäventyr från Reykjavík! Förundras över de dånande vattenfallen Skógafoss och Seljalandsfoss, ta en guidad glaciärpromenad på Sólheimajökull och utforska den dramatiska svarta sandstranden Reynisfjara, hem till höga basaltsjöar. Börja resan med en naturskön bilresa längs Islands oländiga kust. Vi stannar till vid Skógafoss, ett fantastiskt 60 meter högt vattenfall, och besöker Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, där kraftfulla vågor kraschar mot vulkanisk svart sand - hem till ikoniska basalt havshögar. Du kommer att ladda upp för en lätt glaciärvandring på Sólheimajökull, där du kommer att utforska blåis, djupa sprickor och dramatiska formationer. Vi stannar också vid Seljalandsfoss, där du kan gå bakom det forsande vattnet för en unik utsikt. På vägen tillbaka till Reykjavík kan du koppla av och njuta av fantastisk utsikt över Islands ikoniska sydkust.

Kliv in på Islands mest berömda svarta sandstrand, där basaltpelare reser sig som en naturlig katedral och Atlantens surfing brusar in. Du kommer att se Reynisdrangars havsstackar till havs och den slående geologin som gör denna kustlinje så dramatisk - plus viktig säkerhetsvägledning för de kraftfulla "sneakervågorna". Promenera lugnt längs den svarta sandstranden känd för sina berömda basaltpelare och grottor. Bevittna Reynisdrangars klippor och basaltklippor som reser sig ur havet.
Njut sedan av en oförglömlig promenad på isen med en Nybörjare guidad vandring på Sólheimajökullglaciären, en fantastisk utlöpare av Mýrdalsjökull på Islands sydkust. I en liten grupp möter du din certifierade glaciär Guide på parkeringen, laddar upp med krampor, isyxa och hjälm, och går över ett dramatiskt landskap till glaciären, passerar en vacker lagun prickad med flytande isberg. Sedan kliver du ut på riktig glaciäris för ca 1,5 timmes lätt vandring, vävning mellan isryggar, sprickor och skimrande blå formationer. Längs vägen kommer din Guide att dela berättelser om klimat, historia och området, med gott om tid för bilder och ta in vyerna. Det är ett roligt, säkert och oförglömligt sätt att uppleva Islands isvärld - ingen tidigare glaciärerfarenhet krävs.
Ett pittoreskt vattenfall med en stig som låter dig se kaskaden bakifrån för ett oförglömligt perspektiv. På vintern kan leden vara isig eller stängd, men stoppet är fortfarande spektakulärt framifrån, med dramatiska klippor, mossig sten och konstant skiftande ljus.

You have the opportunity to get wet so bring waterproof clothing and/or a change of clothes. Lunch was available at the Black Sand Beach Restaurant but it is a long day so bring snacks and water. You can leave your belongings in the van at each stop so you don’t have to worry about lugging around a large bag everywhere. For the glacier hike bring ankle supported hiking boots, otherwise you will have to pay about $15 to rent some when you get to the glacier. Our tour guide Sergei was so amazing and helped us so much during the trip! Overall it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it!
We had an amazing experience with Arctic Adventures, and I cannot recommend them enough! A special thank you to Sergio, our bus driver, who was incredibly professional, respectful, and friendly throughout the entire trip. What really stood out was that while driving, he continuously shared fascinating history, culture, and facts about Iceland, which made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. His knowledge and passion for Iceland added so much value to the experience. I also want to recognize Daniel, our glacier guide, who was absolutely outstanding. He made safety his top priority and provided clear, thorough instructions before and during the hike. He constantly checked on everyone in the group, making sure no one was left behind and that everyone felt comfortable and confident. My husband became a little tired during the hike, and Daniel was incredibly caring, compassionate, and attentive. He checked on him several times and made sure we took short breaks when needed so everyone could keep up comfortably. He was patient, encouraging, and genuinely concerned about the well-being of every person in the group. What impressed me most was how engaged Daniel was with everyone. He took the time to speak with all members of the group, answered questions, and made sure nobody felt overlooked or unattended. His professionalism, kindness, and leadership made the glacier experience unforgettable. Thank you, Sergio and Daniel, for helping make our Iceland adventure so memorable.
