Visiting the house where the Virgin Mary lived her last days should be a must for tourists in Esmirna. I confess that I was at first out of curiosity, I am not properly a religious, but when I entered the house and stopped in front of the altar, I was invaded by crying and uncontrollable emotion, caused at least by the energy of the people who go there like me.
