Välkommen till vår miljövänliga Walking Tour genom Lissabons historiska centrum! Vi kommer att utforska won DErs av staden, med början på den vackra Miradouro São Pedro de Álcantara. Vi tror att det bästa sättet att lära känna en stad är att promenera, hjälpa till att minska vårt koldioxidavtryck samtidigt som du njuter av den friska luften och upptäcka den lokala historien och kulturen. Vi får möjlighet att beundra de vackra kakelplattor som pryder många av stadens byggnader, lära oss om historien om markisen av Pombal och hans inflytande på återuppbyggnaden av staden efter jordbävningen 1755, och dyka in i legender, berättelser och fascinerande fakta om Lissabons förflutna. Vi kommer att gå längs floden Tejo och diskutera Nejlikerevolutionen, ett viktigt kapitel i Portugals historia som förändrade landets kurs, bland många andra ämnen av intresse. Vår tur kommer att avslutas vid den majestätiska Praça do Comércio, där vi kommer att kunna uppskatta dess fantastiska arkitektur och panoramautsikt.

Ines was an amazing guide! Her love for her country, city and culture was very evident! She is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Lisboa. We learned a lot and saw parts of the city we had not encountered yet. And..... she treated us to a beautiful surprise midway through our tour! I don't want to spoil it for others taking her tours! Wonderful tour with Ines- she is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and her love for her country shows. When we arrived at the ruins of the old Roman theatre, she spontaneously broke out in a beautiful traditional song with a remarkably professional voice!

The tour was entertaining. We received a lot of information about the cultural background of Portugal and especially the Lisboetas. the tour was charmingly guided and linked the new way of life in lisbon with the historical counterparts. of course, the tour was rounded off by the tasting of a pastel de nata. we can highly recommend the tour if you want to take a more detailed look behind the scenes of the city.

The walking tour of Lisbon was great and our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. I would do it again and I am recommending to my in-laws for their visit in September.
