Lissabon är romantisk, vacker, historisk och överlag en fantastisk stad. Många av oss som bor här tar en livstid för att upptäcka alla dess underverk. Vår See-It-All-turné syftar till att ge dig så mycket som möjligt på så kort tid som möjligt. Stadens arv är över 800 år gammalt och det finns mycket att lära om det. Från barock till gotisk arkitektur, till de smala gatorna i vår äldsta stadsdel Alfama, vi tvivlar inte på att du kommer att fördjupas i denna unika upplevelse. Vi har för avsikt att visa er alla, börja med Parque Eduardo VII, och förbi Águas Livres-akvedukten, en av de bästa delarna av portugisisk ingenjörskonst på 1700-talet. Vi besöker sedan UNESCO-listade platserna Belém Tower och Jerónimos-klostret, monumentet över upptäckterna och bussmuseet. För att toppa turnén stannar vi vid en av våra mest kända utsiktspunkter i Lissabon. Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, och avsluta med en fantastisk vandringstur i Alfama, för att njuta av vår populära kultur och atmosfär!

Beläget norr om Avenida da Liberdade på toppen av Pombal Marquis Square, står den största parken i Lissabon. Ursprungligen kallad Liberty Park, döptes den om för att hedra kungen av Englands besök 1903. Den skulle hädanefter heta Edward VII Park. Dessa två avenyer är utvecklade längs 25 tunnland mark, parallella med en lång gräsremsa, med många läckerheter och avkopplande vyer
Även om det döljer en del mysterier, ansågs det vara den vackraste platsen i Lissabon vid sekelskiftet, den imponerande strukturen reser sig över Alcântaradalen. Byggandet av en akvedukt för att föra vatten till staden gav kung João V möjligheten att ägna sig åt sin passion för storslaget byggande, eftersom det enda området i Lissabon som hade vatten var i Alfama.
På uppdrag av kung Manuel I byggdes tornet från 1515 till 1521 för att vara en fästning i mitten av Tejo. Utgångspunkten för Discoveries navigatörer, denna manuelinska juvel blev symbolen för portugisisk expansion.
Ett monument över rikedomen i Age of Discoveries, det är höjdpunkten av manuelinsk arkitektur under perioden. Den beställdes av kung Manuel I omkring 1501, strax efter Vasco da Gamas återkomst.
Högt uppe på flodstranden i Belém byggdes detta massiva monument 1960 för att markera 500-årsdagen av Henrik Sjöfararens död.
Denna busssamling är förmodligen den bästa i Europa. Tillverkade i Portugal, Italien, Frankrike, Österrike och Spanien, sträcker sig bussarna över tre århundraden och sträcker sig från de enklaste till de mest sofistikerade.
Utsiktsplatsen São Pedro de Alcântara är en av de bredaste och mest ikoniska utsiktspunkterna i Lissabon. Det ligger precis intill toppen av bergbanan Glória och erbjuder en speciell utsikt över staden. Här kan du se hela Avenida da Liberdade, Restauradores och Baixa, samt kullen Castelo de São Jorge, med sina imponerande väggar och sin fotogena gröna krona av paraplytaller. Du kan också se i detalj utsiktspunkten Igreja da Graça, med dess imponerande kyrka.
Ett fascinerande kvarter när som helst på dygnet men som vaknar till liv tidigt på kvällen när invånarna går ut på gatorna och krogarna börjar fyllas. Detta är en vandringstur förbi slottet S. Jorge, Igreja de Santo Antonio och katedralen i Lissabon (Sé).
National Pantheon är en av symbolerna för Lissabon, men också för Portugal. Detta är trots allt det sista hemmet för stora figurer i vår historia, som Amália Rodrigues och Eusébio. Men särdragen på denna plats är långt ifrån begränsade till resor för dem som vilar där. Byggandet av denna byggnad började på 1500-talet. XVII och färdigställdes först under andra hälften av seklet. XX. I den här artikeln kommer vi att berätta hur det hela började och även en legend som för alltid var kopplad till denna plats.
Platsen där Expo'98 hölls heter nu Parque das Nações och har blivit ett centrum för kulturella aktiviteter. Med sin moderna arkitektur, attraktioner för hela familjen och utrymmen för umgänge har parken väckt nytt liv till Lissabons östra utkant.

Rui was amazing: patient, available to cover it all. We visited beyond what was scheduled and Riu was flexible to accommodate our needs. Jose was an extraordinary guide. Not only did he take me to all the places and neighborhoods I hadn’t visited in depth-Christ the Redeemer monument, Alfama, Almada, Chiado and Barrio Alto, he took me to two of the seven highest viewpoints of Lisbon. At each, he was able to point out all of the different neighborhoods, the property where I was staying, different monuments, palace and more. The views were spectacular. From there we had a lunch at a spot only frequented by locals. Not only was the food spectacular, the owner of the restaurant gifted me with a tile plaque commemorating the restaurants anniversary and also a poster of the restaurant. Our last stop was the Royal Palace of Lisbon. I have no comprehension as to why not is not one of the top rated points of interest in Lisbon as it is breathtakingly beautiful. We virtually had the palace to ourselves along with the gardens and greenhouse. Throughout the day I learned so much about the culture, history, architecture and development of Portugal. This was the perfect ending with the perfect person on a perfect trip. I could not have asked for more nor could I have been with a more entertaining, knowledgeable and decent person.

Wine yards and wine tasting was great, but aven better was the driver <3 no rush at all and he was very helpfull with everything. He had good local knowledge and also he did know lot from the history of Portugal. If you are still thinking to take a tour from Avenidas, stop the thinking and call them and make a reservation. I have to give 10+
Booked this tour and they never showed up. Was depending on them since we only had a short amount of time to explore Lisbon. I heard they had great reviews for tours/drivers so I was very excited to book them. However, I called and WhatsApp messaged them multiple times and never got a response. Very unprofessional.
Dear Deja, We are really sorry this client did not have the tour today. This reservation came in the early hours of the day prior to the travel date and our e-mail did not receive notification for it. Moreover, the contact attempts to our number through whatsapp, were not ideal because we have hundreds of chats there and things get lost very easily. It just so happens that there was a problem with the Viator notifications and we did not get an email informing of the reservation (which can some 24 hours prior to the tour). To be honest, as much as we regret not being able to serve this tour, which was in our best interest, we do not believe this situation is deserving of giving us a rating of 1*. Especially when, unfortunately for both of parties, you did not experience our tour/service at all. Wish you all the best, Manuel

I am one of a group of six women who contracted to be driven from the Lisbon airport to our Airbnb home on the evening of May 29, 2019. We had been lead to believe our house was in Sintra near restaurants, shopping, and transportation. Instead we found ourselves in the middle of a very rural area with none of the above within walking distance of our house! I was obviously upset about our situation, and told our driver, a young man named Marccio Passos, how we had been mislead when we booked the house. He saw our predicament and took it upon himself to call his boss and make arrangements so he could offer to be our private driver for the next 2 days. Not only that, but he also drove us to a grocery store that night and waited while we got provisions for making dinner and breakfast since we had nothing in the home. The next two days he was delightful, taking us to all the must see places in Sintra and then giving us an incredible day of visiting “his” Lisbon. He took us not only to the tourist attractions we requested, but also to an awesome local pastry shop, Pasteis de Belém, where we tried the famous Pastel de Nata. Later he surprised us with reservations at an incredible restaurant, Ponto Final, which was a highlight because of its location and great food. The bottom line is that Marccio turned what would have been a disaster into a wonderful experience for all of us. I believe most drivers would have thought us a bunch of silly women who did not do proper research and would have left us without another thought. I’m so thankful we had to good fortune to have Marccio as our driver the evening of the 29th. He had the integrity and empathy to go the extra mile and I will be forever grateful! L.Coffin
