Efter att ha hämtat upp dig kommer vårt första stopp att vara San Martín-torget, ett magnifikt torg byggt i början av 1920-talet för att fira 100 år av Perus självständighet. I centrum står ett slående monument som hedrar landets befriare, omgivet av eleganta byggnader som visar upp tidens neoklassiska arkitekturstil. Du kommer också att se det historiska Hotel Bolívar, ett av Limas mest ikoniska landmärken, känt för sin charm och koppling till Perus guldålder.
Därefter besöker vi Limas stora torg, det mest ikoniska och historiskt betydelsefulla torget i Peru. Här beundrar du några av stadens mest imponerande koloniala landmärken, inklusive presidentpalatset, stadshuset och den majestätiska katedralen Lima. Excellent +3 hr tour of downtown historic area and St Francis Monastery & Catacombs. Martin, our guide, was exceptionally informative, engaging, considerate and easy to understand. His deep and detailed knowledge of the history, construction, art, religious practices, and cultural aspects of the monastery and historic area made it a very rich and rewarding experience. Great driver and comfortable vehicle as well. Highly recommend.

The tour to the historic center of Lima was very interesting. Our tour guide Martin had the difficulty of leading the tour for two in Spanish and for two in English with four people in the group. He has designed this very confidently. I liked it very much

Martin was a wonderful resource of knowledge. He shared insights and stories about the places. He made sure we were haven’t a good time and enjoyed the tour. When we had questions he was there to answer them. It gave me a new perspective of South American culture.
We took a tour of historic Lima that included the Saint Francis Monastery and the catacombs. The tour also included transportation from and to the hotel in Miraflores. Our tour guide was Martin. He was awesome!! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We started the tour in Plaza San Martin, to then walk down Union alleyway that took us to Plaza de Armas, and finally the catacombs. It was by far the highlight of our time in Lima. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this beautiful city.
