Upptäck Limas autentiska smaker i denna gastronomiska upplevelse genom det historiska centrumet. Under denna cirka 3,5 timmar långa rundtur kommer vi att vandra genom emblematiska platser som Plaza San Martín, Mercato Central och det traditionella Kinesiska. Resenärer kommer att upptäcka lokala ingredienser, prova typisk peruansk mat och njuta av en provsmakning av den berömda Pisco Sour. När vi vandrar genom historiska gator som Jirón de la Unión kommer guiden att dela med sig av berättelser om stadens kultur, gastronomi och historia. Turen avslutas nära Limas Plaza de Armas, det historiska hjärtat av den peruanska huvudstaden.

Turen börjar på det historiska Gran Hotel Bolívar, som ligger på Plaza San Martín. Här kommer guiden att ge en kort introduktion om centrala Limas historia och peruansk gastronomi innan den gastronomiska upplevelsen påbörjas.
Promenera längs den mest traditionella gatan i centrum, för att se historiska och gastronomiska stopp.
Vi besöker den historiska kyrkan och klostret La Merced, ett av de viktigaste templen i Limas historiska centrum. Guiden kommer kortfattat att förklara platsens historia och dess betydelse under kolonialtiden medan vi vandrar längs den traditionella Jirón de la Unión.
Vi besöker Limas berömda centrala marknad, där resenärer kan upptäcka traditionella peruanska ingredienser, exotiska frukter och olika lokala matstånd. Här får du smaka på några typiska smaker från det peruanska köket.
Vi kommer att vandra genom Limas traditionella Kinesiska , ett område fullt av historia och kultur. Resenärer kommer att kunna lära sig om det kinesiska inflytandet på peruansk gastronomi och prova några typiska snacks.

Juan Diego was our tour guide. Had a really enjoyable food tour. Juan gave a a great history lesson of the area, he was very knowledgable and inciteful. Food was very tasty, definitely worth the money.
I had a great time on this food tour with JD. We tried some amazing local food and visited places I would never have found by myself. Everything felt very authentic, and I learned a lot about Lima and Peruvian culture. Definitely recommend it!

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was a great way to get to know Peruvian gastronomy while walking through the historic centre of Lima. We tried various typical dishes and drinks, and each stop had something interesting to discover. I especially liked the fact of visiting local places and not just the most tourist points. Everything was well organized, the pace was calm and the experience seemed very authentic. I recommend to those who want to know the Peruvian culture through the Food.

It was a really nice and authentic experience. We went to the historic center and Chinatown and the local market where they selling fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. We have tasted some typical food such as choclo con queso, ceviche, papá rellena and picarones. Diego also explained as the places we went and the history behind them. It was a very nice experience and we had a lot of fun.

I absolutely loved this food tour! The fruit tasting was something I didn’t expect and it ended up being my favorite part. I tried many new fruits, all fresh and delicious food. The guide was very friendly and explained everything really well. Definitely a unique experience and highly recommended.
