Liten grupptur med max 8 personer endast på engelska. Efter att ha kört från Barranco och Miraflores börjar turen vid Plaza San Martín, en historisk port till stadens centrum. Vi kommer att besöka den imponerande San Francisco kyrkan och dess berömda katakomber, som erbjuder en inblick i Limas koloniala förflutna. Njut sedan av en churro criollo på en populär lokal plats, en smak av stadens kulinariska arv. Därefter utforskar vi Plaza de Armas, beundrar exteriören av regeringspalatset, Limas katedral och Santo Domingos kloster innan vi åker tillbaka. När vi når Miraflores passerar vi också Huaca Pucllana, en gammal förinkaplats mitt i den moderna staden. Turen kommer att avslutas på den natursköna Malecón i Miraflores, med fantastisk havsutsikt från Parque del Amor känd för sin romantiska atmosfär och vackra skulpturer inspirerade av Barcelonas Park Güell. Den här turen blandar historia, kultur och hisnande landskap perfekt, och erbjuder en minnesvärd upplevelse av Limas främsta landmärken på bara 4 timmar.

Plaza San Martín är ett stort, historiskt torg i centrala Lima, invigt 1921 för att fira Perus självständighet. I mitten står en bronsstaty av general José de San Martín. Plaza är omgivet av eleganta neoklassiska byggnader, som Gran Hotel Bolívar, och är en livlig knutpunkt som blandar kolonial charm med arkitektur från tidigt 1900-tal, vilket gör det till ett viktigt landmärke i Lima.
San Francisco-klostret är ett slående exempel på kolonial barockarkitektur i Lima, känd för sin utsmyckade fasad och rika historia. Inuti klostret finns ett stort bibliotek och imponerande religiös konst. Dess mest kända kännetecken är de underjordiska katakomberna, som en gång användes som begravningsplats. Katakomberna innehåller uppskattningsvis 25 000 kvarlevor, vilket gör dem till en unik och kuslig glimt av Limas förflutna, som erbjuder besökarna en fascinerande resa in i stadens koloniala och religiösa arv.

Det stora torget i Perus huvudstad, hem till katedralen Lima och regeringspalatset, och närliggande Santo Domingo kloster.
Vi kommer att pas av Huaca Pucllana, en gammal pre-Inka arkeologisk plats som ligger i hjärtat av det moderna Lima. Byggd omkring 500 e.Kr. av Limakulturen, består den av en stor adobepyramid gjord av små, handgjorda tegelstenar. Platsen fungerade som ett viktigt ceremoniellt och administrativt centrum. Idag erbjuder Huaca Pucllana en unik kontrast mellan antikens historia och det omgivande stadslandskapet, vilket ger en inblick i de tidiga civilisationer som en gång blomstrade längs Perus centrala kust.
Parque del Amor, eller Kärlekens park, är en naturskön plats i Miraflores med utsikt över Stilla havet. Parken är känd för sina livliga mosaiker och romantiska skulpturer, inklusive den ikoniska statyn *El Beso* (Kyssen) av Víctor Delfín, och är ett populärt resmål för par. Dess böjda väggar, prydda med färgglada kakelplattor och citat med kärlekstema, skapar en nyckfull atmosfär. Parkens läge på klippan erbjuder fantastisk havsutsikt, vilket gör det till en perfekt plats att koppla av och njuta av Limas kustlinje.

Kom i tid, för vi väntar inte på sena ankomster, under inga omständigheter. Om du väljer Barranco som upphämtnings-/lämningsplats, vänligen överväg 4h dörr-till-dörr, medan med Miraflores kommer den totala varaktigheten att vara runt 3h30.

We had a tour with Valeria. It was really nice and she did really well. Thanks to her for making Lima a nice time. Just make sure to double check recommendations as I paid way to much for the recommended sim shop. Other than that. Perfect. Gracias Valeria.

Valeria pointed you to Miraflores' official tourist information point near the tour, based on her best knowledge, as that's where they resell SIM chips. It's always worth comparing prices yourself if you can, just in case there's a better deal nearby. But that has little to do with the tour you are reviewing.

Very practical meeting point in Miraflores from where the operator takes you on a 3h30 tour around the Hsitoric Center and Mireflores. The guide Valeria was super nice and the tour well designed. Highly recommend! Oh and there's churros!

David was excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable. First time in Peru. Great introduction to Lima and very much appreciated. He even bought us churros, which were wonderful and not like the ones we’ve had in the US. His driver was also excellent in navigating the insanity of Lima traffic. The drivers in Peru make those in Italy and Albania seem like Sunday drivers in the US.
