Denna plats var ett av de viktigaste religiösa centrumen under Inkaperioden längs Perus kust. Här finns ett extraordinärt komplex av tempel och strukturer som byggdes av olika pre-inkakulturer som går tillbaka till omkring 200 e.Kr. Senare byggde inkaindianerna majestätiska pyramider här för att hedra solen. Besökare kan uppskatta platsens anmärkningsvärda arkitektoniska precision medan de utforskar de seder, övertygelser och traditioner som formade de gamla civilisationerna i Peru. LUNCH : Vid middagstid blir det en paus på 1 timme 30 minuter så att du kan äta lunch. Vi kommer att rekommendera dig några bra lokala restauranger.
Under den andra delen av turen kommer vi att besöka detta historiska torg, byggt i början av 1900-talet till 100-årsminnet av Perus självständighet. De omgivande byggnaderna är magnifika exempel på neoklassisk arkitektur, vilket återspeglar elegansen och storheten från den tiden.
Därefter besöker vi Stora torget, det mest ikoniska och representativa torget i Peru. We had such a great day exploring Lima with Sandy! This tour is packed with variety—you really get to see so many different sides of the city. We happened to go the day before Independence Day, so the streets were bustling with energy and very crowded, but Sandy handled everything like a pro. She made sure we stayed on track, comfortable, and still got the full experience without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. She even recommended a fantastic spot for lunch that we absolutely loved. Sandy was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and friendly, which made the day even more enjoyable. Hats off to her for making our visit so smooth and memorable!

We appreciate pick up & drop off at the hotel, communication via Whatsapp. Very helpful guide - he knows a lot about history of Peru. Excellent driver - we felt safe in the Lima crazy traffic.

Our guide Jonathan was thorough, patient with our questions (we asked a lot 🙂), and well informed about the history of Lima. Our tour group only consisted of me and my friend as it is a slow season. It was better this way in my opinion. You could feel Jonathan’s passion for history, and pride for his countryman throughout the tour.. Recommend 12/10!
