Denna halvdagstur med privatbil är ett perfekt sätt att besöka städerna Lexington och Concord under revolutionskriget och se platsen där "skottet som hördes runt om i världen" avlossades. Vi tar samma väg som Paul Revere och stannar till vid de viktigaste platserna längs vägen för att ge en detaljerad redogörelse för vad och hur det utvecklades i april 1775. Restiden från Boston till dessa städer är 45 minuter vardera vägen och du kommer att vara i en av våra bekväma privata fordon med en erfaren, kunnig och licensierad tour Guide.

Kör från Boston, förbi Harvard och vidare till Lexington, som är cirka 35 minuters bilresa. Stanna vid detta tidigare brittiska arméhögkvarter och fältsjukhus (1775) och hör en beskrivning av Paul Reveres resa till staden Lexington.
Från utsidan kommer vi att ge husets historia och varför Sam Adams och John Hancock tog sin tillflykt här för att undvika tillfångatagande av brittiska styrkor.

Martin was our driver and guide. He was the best! He was on time. He was filled with historical information as we traveled through Boston and then headed to Lexington and Concord. The day went so well. We would highly recommend using this company.
This tour is mostly by car, but was a great introduction to the start of the revolutionary war.

We absolutely loved our tour of Lexington and Concord with Martin, the best tour guide in New England! He picked us up from our hotel right on time in a clean, new minivan. He gave us a brief photo review of the land-filling that created the Back Bay (as our hotel was there). He then gave us a drive-through bonus tour of a bit of MIT and Harvard on the way to Lexington. We were able to briefly walk the long corridor of MIT and see the unbelievable freshman dining hall at Harvard. Both on the road and when out of the van in Lexington and Corcord, Martin demonstrated a captivating style of history telling that really intrigued the listener. He is clearly passionate about the details of the events of April 19, 1775. I was easily able to visualize the incredible drama that unfolded in these towns on that day. Because of this, standing on Lexington green was very moving for me. Near the end of our tour, he gave us a bonus drive-by of Bunker Hill and provided us with some additional history. He then walked us in to the Warren Tavern, so to insure that we found a great seat. This was my fifth or sixth trip to Boston, and can say without hesitation that this or any of Martin’s company’s tours will stand above the rest (we also took the full-day private tour of Salem and the coast with Martin)!

Our guide Martin filled our tour with his rich knowledge of history, the kind of detail you would never hear in a classroom or book. It brought the stories of Boston, Lexington, and Concord vividly to life and helped us understand the motives of both sides. He helped us understand the sheer determination, grit and willingness to suffer that allowed the colonial leaders to prevail in the end. We are so glad we chose this tour!
