The tour was outstanding with lots of food to taste and Unga was full of information on the Riga market. Don't need to eat ahead of the tour or you won't be able to taste everything. What a great way to experience local way of life. Highly recommend!
Guide was great, gave contex for each meal and drink. Also shined as someone who knows how to handle people when a group member decided to act like a child, she was able to get them to calm down and not ruin the trip. Can't recommend enough!

We thought it was a great experience both because we got to taste something good traditional with and got a lot of good stories around the place. We had a good guide, Guna, who was really good at telling these stories in detail and making it clear what happened. We would definitely recommend that you choose Guna as a guide if you want a good experience.
Lots of fun food to try. Our guide was knowledgeable and cordial and managed to keep track of us in the busy market.

Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Riga who wants to learn about Latvian food! Our guide was so nice and explained not only the significance of the foods we were trying, but she also pointed out other foods and explained how Latvians cooked with them and which foods they ate in which seasons.
