We gifted this experience to a good friend for their birthday. He and all of us are thrilled with our boat trip today on Lake Lucerne aboard the lovingly restored paddle steamer Gallia. Great, history-related entertainment by a cool actor, good wines, and excellent food, all included in the package price. Although not cheap, this unique experience is worth it for both locals and tourists. I will come back! Really great!
This was an unforgettable, well executed, ingenious cruise experience on an impeccably classy and well maintained historic steamship. Our “host” Casimir Knorr played his part to a tee, mingling with guests, pointing out historical sights, and telling interesting stories about the lake’s history. The crew and captain also engaged with the passengers which was a nice touch. The food was top-notch; could hardly believe it was cooked on the ship! Service staff was phenomenal. We covered the entire lake in five hours. At times, the scenery was reminiscent of Norway’s fjords. This is a pricey experience, but trust me, you get everything you pay for. There were only about 30 passengers so the atmosphere felt exclusive and intimate. Having been in the hospitality and tourism industries for 38 years, I found the entire program exceptionally well done. I proudly give Legends my highest recommendation possible.
After a warm welcome we were taken on a journey through the stories and legends of Central Switzerland. Entertaining, exciting, with a lot of humor, great Service and excellent culinary experiences, this unique day will be remembered. Must sees: Lake Lucerne exclusive and the trip belongs on every bucket list. Thanks to the great team aboard DS Galia!
What a wonderful day, with the Legends of Lucerne. A big praise to all who are involved and who had the courage to create such a unique and high-quality product. The food was great cinema, as was the honourable Mr Knörr, who leads the journey in a varied, pointed and very entertaining way. All staff - Service, nautical, kitchen - were excellent, warm and competent. Time has flown by on this beautifully maintained ship. We enjoyed it extremely much and strongly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to treat themselves to something special or give away. Thank you for this great day!
