This was brilliant for anyone like myself with an interest in lava and volcanoes. The guide gives a very informative talk to begin with, followed by an interesting video. Then the main event - molten lava poured down a chute and allowed to cool. The guide (who was fantastic) gives a running commentary on what is happening, takes the temperature of different parts of the lava as it cools, shows its viscosity and shows how it interacts with ice. Finally there is a q & a session. The guide provided excellent answers to the several questions posed. One of the best 50 minutes of my life!
This was an unforgettable experience. Learnt so much about lava formation. The narration and display was amazing.
If you've ever wanted to get up-close and personal to molten lava, this is the place to do it. I was sceptical, but had to admit you really do feel the heat when the show begins. Our host was clearly passionate about the natural world and provided us with an interesting soundtrack throughout the show. Unique experience, give it a go!

Absolutely wonderful! Each row of seats are raised up as they go back so every seat has a great view. Super video and lots of interesting facts about the lava. Fun, informative, beautiful, 100% recommend.
