Emerald Bay den näst mest fotograferade platsen i USA. Detta är ett vackert stopp. På vintern kan det vara stängt på grund av laviner. Men större delen av året placerar Around Tahoe Tours dig på de perfekta platserna vid Emerald Bay. Ta fotografier, hör historierna och se bukten. Ingen parkering och promenader, bara njuta av Emerald Bay. Vi kommer att se Inspiration Point, Eagle Falls, Fannett Island och Vikingsholm.
Den Oscarsbelönta filmen "The Godfather Part II" spelades in på västra stranden av Lake Tahoe. Maffian tillbringade en hel del tid i Lake Tahoe. Kasinon i Reno och på North Shore förde maffian till stranden av Lake Tahoe. Överallt där det finns pengar skulle de finnas där. Dessutom är sjön väldigt djup. Fråga Fredo
Detta är säsongsbetonat stopp. Öppet från 15 maj till 15 oktober. Detta är en vacker liten vit sandstrand. Fantastisk badplats vid Lake Tahoe och en underbar liten resort med stugor och hus att hyra samt husbilscamping och tältcamping. Det finns en lanthandel här och bra badrum.
Vi parkerar vid Tahoe City Visitor Center och går över till Fanny Bridge. Nedanför Tahoe City Dam kan vi se några otroligt stora och vackra Regnbåge och Öring. Det är här Truckee River rinner ut ur Lake Tahoe. Dammen är bara 2 meter hög och är inte där för att hålla vatten i men för att hjälpa den att komma ut.
Detta är ett underbart stopp vid den berömda Gar Wood's Restaurant and Bar. Ta en blöt woody och gå på piren. Fantastiska bilder ser hur klart vattnet verkligen är. På sommaren kunde vi se att Woody är ute på sjön. Gar Woods, Chris-Crafts, Rivas och hackare. Vackra gamla träbåtar.
Runt Tahoe Tours gör ett stopp på den vackraste platsen i Lake Tahoe. Sand Harbor State Park Nevada. Hem av massiva stora stenblock omgivna av alla färger av blått. Verkar tropiskt vid vissa tillfällen. Bra ställe för att simma massor av historia, och förmodligen vårt bästa stopp. Gå ut sträck på benen och ta massor av fotografier. Du vill inte lämna.
Runt Tahoe stannar vid Logan Shoals Vista Trail eftersom detta är det bästa stället att se Cave Rock. Cave Rock är Lake Tahoes mest berömda heliga plats. Hem till andarna från Paiute- och Washoe-indianerna. Cave Rock är inte alls en sten, det är en vulkanisk stam som blivit över från länge sedan.

WOW, Mark was great. My advice is to take this tour the first day and not wait. He actually made me change my mind about coming back to Tahoe again. The first 3 days were frustrating with closed beaches and other issue. Mark took us to beaches we went to the next day and had a great time. Let us know about an ice cream store. Mark was great. He played the pre-recorded audio but would pause to fill in more insight he had about that part of Tahoe. I learned so much more about Tahoe. He was excellent drive and more importantly where to park. We have fabulous pictures now. He took pains to take pictures for each couple and he framed many of our perfectly. I never felt rushed at the various stops. I had a real chance to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe and understood more of the history. DEFINITLY TAKE THIS TOUR and if possible ask for Mark. I'm sure the other drivers are also excellent but I can only speak about Mark.

Amazing tour with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe! Our guide, Mark, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well organized and suitable for all ages. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The tour was very good! Van who drove our van was very knowledgeable about the area because he grew up here. As seniors the pace was good. Van (also a younger senior 😀) was very helpful by answering our questions. As first time travelers to Lake Tahoe the tour introduced us to a wide variety of information about the lake. All 4 of us old timers recommend this tour.
Good afternoon from Lake Tahoe It was very nice to get your review for Van. He is one of the best tour guides we have now. We got lucky and he just dropped in our lap about 3 months ago. But he also went to school with me at Incline High School. And yes he knows the area very well. He spent some time in the army and has some very good logistical and organizational skills as well and is very personable. In fact, every year is a Santa Claus. For the local community🧑🎄

Having grown up on Lake Tahoe, Van showed us many special spots and vantage points that only a native would know about. My husband was particularly excited to see the boathouse from Godfather II and the Ponderosa from Bonanza. Another highlight was seeing Cal Neva and the dude trip to Sierra Boat Company to see a one-of-a-kind Jaguar boat! We highly recommend this intimate, personalized tour of the lake.

Our tour guide and driver was very courteous and kept us up to date on his arrival time as this did change. He was very informative and gave us lots of history and legends in the area. It was a pleasurable tour.
