Klipporna i Ponta da Piedade-odden är en av de finaste naturliga kännetecknen i Algarve. Denna dramatiska kalkstens kustlinje består av havspelare, bräckliga klippbågar och dolda grottor, som alla har chiselled ut av vilda vinterstormar.
Lagos är en historisk och karakterfull stad som ligger på den vackra västra Algarve. Det är en stad som har ett rikt sjöfarvsarv och en kustlinje av dramatisk naturlandskap och är idag en av Algarves finaste semestermål. Tack och lov har Lagos inte gett upp sig för masssturism, och staden behåller fortfarande sin särdrag och charm. I den historiska stadskärnan finns en stolt portugisisk stad med kullerstensgator, autentiska restauranger och en avslappnad och välkomnande atmosfär.

En gång, bara en typisk Algarve fiskeläge inbäddad i en dal och flankerad av höga kalkstensklippor, är Carvoeiro nu en populär, ständigt expanderande semesterort. Som sagt stranden är fortfarande i fokus för staden och detta område behåller mycket av sin charm. Vitkalkade, terrakottakakade villor och stugor klamrar fast vid klippsidorna och bildar en slags amfiteater med alla ögon på Carvoeiros främsta tillgång - stranden.

Gabriel was fantastic, easy going & informative. He allowed for great conversations and took us to an awesome restaurant for lunch, honestly one of the best we had during our whole Portugal trip! We couldn’t have picked a better host too show us the Algarve.

My sister and I so appreciated the day spent with Gabriel, his patience, knowledge and insight it answering our multitude of questions we’ve had during our two week stay in Faro and the Algarve region. Gabriel’s love of country and enthusiasm in sharing and showcasing its beauty was evident from the moment we met. This is a very nice tour! Pedro took us on an all day trip that included sandstone cliffs, caves , hiking and some shopping. We enjoyed lunch at a very good seaside restaurant. Pedro even gave our small group a sampler of local pastries to share. I would definitely recommend this tour. I would bring good walking shoes as you will be doing some walking.

Not only was pedro an amazing tour guide - he’s a fantastic photographer! 100/10 recommend booking with Pedro if you find yourself out in the Algarve area! He has incredible knowledge of the area and is so kind! We learnt so so much about Portugal on his tour and He captures so many amazing moments for you as well! His tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We even ran into his partner Gabriel and he was also so friendly, knowledgeable and so funny! What a fabulous trip! Pedro was personable and very knowledgable, and made the whole day fun and interesting! We had a large group of 7 and am very thankful we found Gabriel’s tour! He took us to the sights we otherwise wouldn’t have seen and explained anything we wanted to know about the Algarve area and the culture. Even though the weather was a bit rainy, Gabriel was still able to accommodate and show us the sights and the beautiful nature in a different light. Again, very glad to have done the tour with him. We now have unique and beautiful pictures and memories of our time in Faro!

What a pleasant surprise for us when our guide Gabriel greeted us outside our hotel in Faro. We instantly fell in love with his friendly personality and helpful manner. We knew we were in for a wonderful tour tailored to our needs. Gabriel loves people and being helpful. The sights were outstanding and Gabriel became our unofficial photographer for the day. We were thrilled not only to receive his photos the following day but, also a composite video memory of our day together. In addition, his lunch recommendation was absolutely the best seafood we had in Portugal. We were so pleased that we rebooked Gabriel for his next available day.
