Du kommer att välkomnas med glädje av vår besättning på Marina de Lagos, där äventyret börjar redan innan du kliver ombord. Tillsammans med er går vi igenom resplanen och skräddarsyr upplevelsen efter era önskemål, delar med oss av tydliga instruktioner och insidertips för att få ut det mesta av varje ögonblick på vattnet.
Vårt äventyr börjar vid Ponta da Piedade, en hisnande pärla längs Algarvekusten. Detta naturliga underverk stoltserar med höga gyllene klippor, skulpterade av tiden och tidvattnet till fascinerande valv, grottor och dolda grottor. Dessa dramatiska klippformationer reser sig upp till 20 meter över den kristallklara Atlanten och skapar en vykortsperfekt scen som hör till Portugals mest ikoniska sevärdheter. Här pausar vi för att njuta av panoramaskönheten och ta fantastiska bilder inuti de mystiska havsgrottorna. Och för dem som vill ha en touch av äventyr, erbjuder det inbjudande turkosa vattnet den perfekta platsen för ett uppfriskande dopp i naturens mästerverk.
Vår resa till den legendariska Benagil-grottan fortsätter med hisnande kustutsikt, med utgångspunkt från den fantastiska Praia do Torrado. När vi ger oss ut längs kustlinjen avslöjar varje sväng dramatiska klippor, dolda stränder och Atlantens oändliga blå som sträcker sig till horisonten. Längs vägen finns det så mycket mer att upptäcka, vilket gör detta till ett oförglömligt äventyr!
Gör dig redo att kryssa förbi några av de mest ikoniska pärlorna längs Algarvekusten! När vi glider genom detta fantastiska havslandskap kommer den ena hisnande platsen efter den andra i sikte. Bland dem finns den pittoreska Praia do Carvoeiro, en vykortsperfekt strand inbäddad mellan gyllene klippor och charmiga vitkalkade hus. Med sitt turkosa vatten och dramatiska klippformationer är detta kustparadis en syn att skåda. Men det är bara början – varje sträcka av resan rymmer ett nytt underverk som väntar på att upptäckas!
Från havet låser vi upp ett helt nytt perspektiv av Algarves mest hisnande underverk. När vi driver längs kusten får vi en närmare titt på dolda pärlor som den förtrollande Bonecas grotta – där naturen har skulpterat fantastiska klippformationer som liknar fönster till det oändliga blå. Utsikten från vattnet är magisk och avslöjar hemliga hörn av kusten som få får se. Och det bästa? Vi upplever allt i total stillhet, glider lätt genom detta paradis ombord på vårt fartyg. Varje ögonblick är ett vykort i vardande!
Vid det här laget har vi redan utforskat några av de mest otroliga grottorna på vår väg till den legendariska Benagil. Men en av höjdpunkterna är den fantastiska utsikten över Alfanzina fyr från havet. Den här ikoniska fyren står stolt på klipporna och är ännu mer imponerande från vattnet. Och den riktiga magin? Under den ligger en massiv gömd grotta – en grotta som vi inte bara beundrar på avstånd, utan faktiskt vågar oss in i! Kontrasten mellan ljus och skugga, ekot av vågorna och den rena skalan av detta naturliga underverk gör det till ett oförglömligt ögonblick på vår resa.
Äntligen når vi kronjuvelen Algarve – Algar de Benagil, en av de mest hisnande och eftertraktade destinationerna i Portugal! Denna fantastiska havsgrotta, med sina höga gyllene väggar och ikoniska solbelysta kupol, känns som en dold katedral snidad av naturen själv. Förväntan byggs upp när vi närmar oss, och väl inne, utvecklas verkligen magin. Gör dig redo att fånga några av de mest episka bilderna från resan, inramade av grottans naturliga takfönster och det kristallklara vattnet. Detta är ögonblicket vi har väntat på – en oförglömlig höjdpunkt i vårt äventyr!
Vår stora final tar oss till Praia da Marinha, en sann juvel av den portugisiska kusten och en av de mest hisnande stränderna i världen! Inramat av höga gyllene klippor och kysst av kristallklart vatten, är detta paradis den perfekta platsen att varva ner. Vi tar ett uppfriskande dopp i dess turkosa hav och njuter av skönheten i vår omgivning. Sedan kopplar vi av ombord med några läckra snacks och njuter av de sista ögonblicken av denna oförglömliga resa innan vi tar oss tillbaka till Lagos. Det är det perfekta slutet på ett episkt äventyr!
(Extra stopp som tillval) Denna valfria extra aktivitet inkluderar ett stopp vid Alvors mynning, en unik naturmiljö i Algarve. Gästerna kommer att njuta av flodstränder ombord, omgiven av lugna och natursköna vatten. Under stoppet finns tid att vandra över små öde öar, koppla av i en lugn miljö och bada i lugna, grunda vatten. Efter denna uppfriskande paus avslutas turen med en trevlig återresa till Lagos Marina.
När vi återvänder till Marina de Lagos efter en oförglömlig resa och upptäcker Algarves fantastiska havsgrottor, fylls atmosfären av avslappnade leenden och bestående minnen. I don’t say this lightly: this was the single most memorable thing I’ve ever experienced. Truly. We booked not knowing quite what to expect, and from start to finish it was exhilarating — the kind of day that has everyone grinning and a little breathless. What made it extraordinary was how it landed with the kids. They were thrilled the entire time, completely caught up in it, and watching them light up like that is something I’ll carry with me for a long time. Mad Max is the reason it worked. We booked a private tour with Algarve On Board on a bit of a whim, and it ended up being the highlight of our whole trip. Max made it that way. From the moment we stepped on board he had the balance exactly right — relaxed and easy to be around, but clearly someone who knows these waters cold. He took us along the cliffs and into the caves and grottoes, and every time we rounded a corner there was something that made us gasp. He knew precisely where to slow down, where to let us just sit and take it in, and where the light hit best for photos (he offered to take them without us even asking). What stood out most was how genuinely warm he was. He read the group perfectly — gave the kids a thrill, answered our endless questions about the coastline, and never once made it feel rushed or scripted. By the end it felt less like a tour and more like a day out with someone who really loves where he lives and wanted us to love it too. If you’re deciding whether to do this: do it, and hope you get Max. We’ll be back.

We had a fantastic excursion thanks to Max. His knowledge of the area and attention to detail with us was excellent. We felt well taken care of and special. We had the most incredible day yesterday with Max touring the Algarve area. The views were spectacular, however, our host Max was the real star! He prepared a perfect picnic lunch on board, had great music playing and took tons of pics for us. The day was the true highlight of our time in Algarve. I would highly recommend using his company!!!
