Clara and Liam lead an excellent, invigorating hike to a beautiful volcanic lake. The tour leaders were attentive and informative. We highly recommend this tour.
Great tour with spectacular views. The guide Paulo is extremely knowledgeable about the island and the vegetation. He was punctual. The van used to transport us to the trail was clean and fairly new. A tasty lunch was provided. The hike itself is low to moderate difficulty with truly beautiful views at every step. I highly recommend this tour and Paulo!

This was our favourite guided hike we did. We are from Canada and don't normally feel the need for a guide in the wilderness, but happy we did a guided tour for this hike as there is limited signage/mapping . Bento (the guide) was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the surrounding plants, ecosystem, and water capturing technology. Strongly recommend! Bento is very nice and we learned a lot we did not expect!
This tour was incredible and made even more so by our wonderful tour guide, Paulo. His excitement, knowledge, stories, and genuine curiosity in the landscape/geology and the island was contagious and we felt like we were being let in on the secrets of the island while exploring its beauty. This was a long day of hiking and I'd definitely recommend comfortable hiking shoes. My wife and I are in fairly good shape, but the walk is mostly uphill for almost 2 hours and we were glad for the stop at the lake for lunch. It's not the hardest thing to do by any means, but it is a good hike to get some movement on a vacation. The views were incredible and the scenery is like nothing we've experienced before. We met many friends along the way: a little bluebird, some cows, and a talkative seagull. We didn't run into many other hikers and it felt like we had the caldera and lake to ourselves. This hike was a highlight of our time on the island and I can't recommend this tour, Funtastic, and Paulo enough.
