La Gomera: VIP-upplevelse i nationalparken Garajonay

Besöket görs med en mycket väl förberedd guide och med ett officiellt guidekort från Kanarieöarnas regering. Dessutom är turen för max 18 personer vilket gör den mycket exklusiv. Några av de platser vi kommer att besöka ligger inte inom de kommersiella rutterna så att du verkligen kan lära känna ön.

Avgång från San Sebastián de La Gomera busstation till El Roque de Agando.
Två synvinklar i en! Roque de Agando, en symbol för ön, erbjuder en imponerande utsikt över naturreservatet Benchijigua Integral. Detta naturmonument, tillsammans med Los Roques, utmärker sig för sina klippformationer, med tre fonolitiska kupoler som dominerar den lagertäckta ravinen. Härifrån kan du också begrunda den majestätiska utsikten över ön Teneriffa, krönt av den imponerande Teide.
Beläget i centrum av ön, är det känt för sina traditioner och rika historia. Här har du möjlighet att besöka kyrkan La Candelaria och i baren på torget kan du smaka den typiska osten på ön ”el Almogrote” tillsammans med ett glas endemiskt vin av La Gomera ”la forastera blanca”.
I El Cercado kommer vi att besöka loceras museum, där du kommer att upptäcka en av de mest otroliga traditionerna på ön. Endast kvinnorna formar leran för hand, utan hjälp av krukmakarens hjul, vilket skapar unika bitar i varje verk.
Från synvinkeln kommer vi att beundra den djupaste ravinen i La Gomera, beundra de olika lagren av lava som berättar historien om landet. Här, i detta spektakulära hörn, började erövringen av ön, vilket markerade början på en era full av äventyr och utmaningar.
I detta charmiga hörn av nationalparken Garajonay går vi längs en stig som gör att vi kan njuta av lagerskogens fascinerande ekosystem. Vid ankomsten till restaurangen kommer du att ha tid att njuta av den typiska maten på ön och lyssna på silbo gomero, det lokala språket förklaras som ett världsarv.
I det nya besökscentret, som invigdes i slutet av augusti 2024, får du möjlighet att fördjupa dig i öns rika historia och natur. Du kan utforska La Gomeras geologiska tidsålder, samt köpa och smaka de berömda Gomera-kexen. Om du vill sträcka på benen lite hittar du en utsiktsplats ovanför centrum där du kan beundra nationalparkens imponerande grönska.
När du anländer till Hermigua kan du beundra den berömda gamla däverten, varifrån lokala produkter skickades till England.

The trip was the day after some rare rainfall, but none of that stopped us having a great time. Basso was an excellent, knowledgeable and considerate guide from whom we learned a great deal about La Gomera, its traditions and its history. Thank you!

Beautiful mini bus tour with an excellent guide. The duration of 5 hours is ideal. I took several photos despite the rain. Meet the people of the island including a demonstration of Silbo, the whistled language of La Gomera.
