La Candelaria is the cultural and historical heart of Bogotá. Walking through its colorful colonial streets feels like traveling back in time. The museums, churches, plazas and street art make this area one of the most fascinating places to explore in Colombia. I especially recommend taking time to visit the Botero Museum, Plaza de Bolívar and the charming hidden streets filled with history and local culture. A must-visit destination for anyone wanting to discover the soul of Bogotá.
We were only two people for the tour. Came at 11:00 while tour guide delayed for one hour. Ok, I can understand that, could be some issues with traffic and so on. My main concern that Marina wasn't very informative about the story of gold in gold museum, she wasn't in general getting into details, as we expecting from the tour guide. Maybe it was only our particular experience with this particular guide but I wouldn't recommend to go. Personally I think she is a good person but we didn't receive the service I expected for $120. Gold museum entrance ticket cost 21000 cop each, which is about $12 for both.

The pace was perfect. The market was great. Also walking from lunch to the government area. Fabio was a wonderful tour guide. He was knowledgeable and he managed the tour perfectly. The tours of the museums and Montserrat were great too! Highly recommended!

John was an excellent guide and adjusted the tour to our interest. We had a great overview in a short time for our unexpected layover. He was very knowledgable and used items like a paper map a globe and a compass as well as his phone to explain things. We were very satisfied with our tour.

We did a guided tour of Bogota and the experience was excellent. The guide, Catalina, was very professional, friendly and knew perfectly the history and details of each place we visited. It took us through emblematic sites and also less touristy corners, which made the tour even more interesting. In addition, he answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable at all times. I totally recommend this experience; it is an ideal way to get to know Bogotá in a close, safe and enriching way.
