Great experience- great comms from all and a lovely boat ride - driver was really great
Waste of time Hoi an itself is a Nice spot but it’s just jammed with selfish tourists a real gimmick spot wouldn’t bother, people just wanting that “instagram” photo best off to just enjoy somewhere else
Brilliant experience and friendly guide who rowed and steered the boat. Even had time to take some photos of us.
We had a 7pm ticket. We waited in line until 8:15 pm. It would be nice to know in advance about the standing time. Especially for the older people.
A beautiful vibrant reasonable market The boat ride and lantern is a MUST A true taste of Vietnam market nightlife with lots of shopping music and restaurants
The evening lantern experience is a must-do in Vietnam but I’d recommend heading to the river yourself and paying a fraction of the price. The tour leader met us around the corner from the river, walked us to the river and paid one of the rowers to take us onto the boat. It was as simple as that. We should have just paid the rower directly and cut out the middle man.
