Börja ditt självstyrda djurlivsmöte i Kuranda Koala Gardens. I trädgårdarna kommer du nära till krokodiller av sötvatten och har chansen att mata känguruer och wallabies. Matning av känguruer och wallabies bedrivs under övervakning av det fantastiska teamet i trädgårdarna och djuren har friheten att acceptera maten du erbjuder eller gå och koppla av ~ att vara en känguru är tufft arbete !. Du ser också de svårfångade wombatsna - dessa sömniga, blyga djur är världens största gravande däggdjur och ses inte ofta i naturen, så missa inte dem! Bara ett kort gångavstånd från Koala Gardens, är detta massiva flygflygplan anlagt med vattenfunktioner och regnskogsbruk, hem till över 80 arter av inhemska och sällsynta fåglar. Spotcassowaries, alltmer sällsynta i naturen, liksom bowerbirds, papegojor, lorikeets, fräcka kakados och andra australiensiska fåglar. Du kommer också att se internationella besökare som sydamerikanska macaws.

So good the animals were very cute. We got to pat a koala and have our photo taken .Loved this place .Bird world was great the birds were very interactive.
Close up and personal with the animali and Birds! Unique and a must if you go to Kuranda by train or Skyrail.
This experience is a must do if you like nature. You get a chance to feed the kangaroo and connect to nature.
What a fab little place to see all the Australian animals and we had our picture taken with a koala !
Small place but worth a visit to take a picture with koala. Bird sanctuary has beautiful birds in vibrant colors. I was happy to see kangaroos and few other animals in this small place.
A great little zoo, with koalas, kangaroos and crocodiles. We were allowed to pet koalas and take pictures here, thank you for this perhaps unique opportunity.
Too great little family owned parks say a hour each is about right . Just to note the koala pictures are stood by the animal touching it rather than holding it as in past years . $28 for 1 person in a pic price goes up a bit depending on people numbers
All the koalas are in small enclosures hardly anywhere to go made to be held all day and touched by people. Extremely cruel I really regret giving them money.
$21 entry- poor attractions on a very small scale- barely lasted 30 minutes to see everything. Would not recommend and wish hadn’t wasted money on this.
I liked Birdworld better than Koala Gardens. Birds are wonderful, very active, with a lot of coordination and very diverse sounds. I loved it. . I bought tickets for both Birdworld and Koala Gardens at 2 p.m. but at that time the wombat and the koalas were asleep, (you also have to take into account the habits of the animals, the koalas usually sleep a lot). At 2:30 p.m. there was something like a session to meet the animals, feed them and pet them, but I couldn't stay because I had other plans. The kangaroos are very friendly. There are also some crocodiles and snakes. Both Zoos are small, compared to others I have visited, but they are beautiful. Also note that the Skyrail back to Smithfield makes its final run at 3:15 p.m.
