När vi ser de omfattande ruinerna här, och med lite fantasi är det möjligt att återskapa livet för de stolta människorna som en gång bodde här och utvecklade denna region till skapelsens mästerverk som det en gång var. De många bevattningstankar som täcker hundratals tunnland, med deras vatten kvarhållna med manuellt konstruerade packade jordbundar är ett bevis på att de forna kungarna var exceptionellt avancerade för sin tid. Den kulturella triangeln skiljer sig åt att bostad tre av de sju världsarvslistorna i landet som är Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa och Sigiriya.

Our 5-day trip around Sri Lanka was an unforgettable experience, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Channa. Throughout the entire journey, Channa provided clear and interesting explanations about every place we visited. He was also always happy to answer all of our questions, no matter the topic, and his knowledge made us appreciate the country even more. Having him with us during all the excursions made every visit easy, enjoyable, and completely stress-free. He was always well-organized, attentive, and ensured that everything went smoothly. What stood out the most was his kindness, politeness, and genuine care for us throughout the trip. His recommendations were always excellent and helped us discover the best of Sri Lanka. We highly recommend Channa to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and friendly guide. He truly made our trip a memorable experience. We traveled to Sri Lanka from May 24th to May 29th, and thanks to SL Wide Tours and our tour agent Ishan, this trip became one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. We spent two unforgettable weeks in Sri Lanka. From the first moment we contacted SL Wide Tours, we received professional and transparent treatment from Seu. She helped us design and adapt the itinerary we wanted and was a great professional; she was very patient as we changed the itinerary several times and adapted it immediately. Our driver was Dinesh; more than a driver, we would say he was like a brother to us, taking care of every detail and helping us at all times (EVEN TAKING THE BEST PHOTOS FOR US!!!) for both me and my wife. Chan understood my sense of humour which can be very dry and sarcastic. He was a very attentive and experienced driver and guide. Our driver and guide Dinesh could not have been better, polite, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable - he drove carefully, made as many stops as we wanted for pictures or information, found us lunch along the way, took photos and sent them to us. Spoke perfect English and was really informative A fantastic trip full of culture and the elephant safari was so beautiful, found it very moving. Quite an experience I can’t recommend this company and especially our driver Dinesh enough. He will look after you and make your trip memorable 5 stars !

The trip was planned very well by Miss Seu. We had a wonderful time seeing all the historical places and Channa our guide was brilliant. He went an extra mile all through our visit which was 12 days and he was with us for the whole period. He took extra care of all of us and made sure we were all okay with food, rest stops and had good sleep etc. I would recommend Sri Lanka Wide Tours and Channa.

We relied on this agency for our 15-day trip to SriLanka. We traveled as a family with two girls aged 9 and 15. It was really great, from the organization before the departure to the actual trip. SL (Sri Lanka) Wide Tours was recommended a family member. It was a hassle-free booking from start to end. Booking manager Ms. Seu was extremely helpful in putting the travel plan together based on the places we wanted to visit. We had a wonderful two weeks’ vacation in Sri Lanka. The hotels recommended by SL Wide Tours met our expectations, with excellent free breakfasts that enhanced our stay. Vehicle was cleaned every day during our trip. We toured most of the provinces except East. Our guide Channa was excellent. He became like a family member. He took us to the most historical, beautiful, and educational places in Sri Lanka. His knowledge of the country’s history was excellent. We are vegetarians and he knew all the suitable places to have vegetarian meals. He even went an extra mile looking for cleanest rest rooms.
