Först ska vi rakt in i det riktiga Kambodja. Du kommer att se lokalbefolkningen gå om sina morgonrutiner, oändliga sträckor av smaragdrisfält och de klassiska trähus på styltor. Vårt första stopp? Palm Sugar Village, där familjer har tillverkat traditionellt kambodjanskt socker på samma sätt i generationer. Se hela processen från palm till söta, gyllene kristaller.
Det här är stora grejer – Angkorimperiets faktiska födelseplats. Vi klättrar upp till toppen av Kulen Mountain för de där häpnadsväckande vyerna, och besöker sedan den massiva tillbakalutande Buddhan som är inhuggen i klippan. Tusentals heliga fruktbarhetssymboler inristade i själva flodbädden av 1000-talets präster – som förvandlar strömmande vatten till heligt vatten för hela Angkorriket.
Det är här din dag blir riktigt bra. Kristallklara pooler som matas av kalkstensfiltrerat bergsvatten, picknickspridning på släta klippor med vattenfall som soundtrack. Sedan kommer det där badet – kallt vatten (väck-dig-omedelbart-snällt) i pooler så rent att du ser varenda sten.
Efter lunch ska vi iväg på något riktigt speciellt. Beng Mealea Temple är hur Angkor Wat hade sett ut om naturen hade lämnats att återta det i slutändan. Detta tempel byggdes på 1100-talet och är helt insvept i djungelrankor och massiva trädrötter. Det är rått, äkta och känns som att du är den första som hittar det.
Vårt sista stopp tar oss till en av Kambodjas mest fascinerande flytande byar. Dessa familjer lever hela livet på vattnet, omgivna av höga stylthus och tjocka mangroveskogar. Vi besöker ett buddhistiskt kloster byggt på en konstgjord ö – det är olikt allt du sett förut.

The tour was fantastic and we enjoyed every moment of it. Tour guide Mr. Mony and driver Mr. Moon were nice people who made the day cool. It was such a knowledgeable & comfortable fun tour. Mr Monly gave us quite a handful information about Cambodia & all the local places we visited. Mr Mony was an excellent guide with lots of useful information and happy to take pictures of every person in the group. Our driver Mr Moon was great always ready with cold towels and water which was very appreciated in the Cambodian heat.

I had a great trip with my family to Kulen Mountain and Lake Ton Le Sap with our wonderful guide Mr. Sam and driver Mr. Sothea. The attractions are definitely worth a visit but also the lunch was great. (As vegetarians we had no issues whatsoever with getting a delicious alternative after request.) All in all I had a wonderful day :)

Excellent trip from start to finish. Bus driver was Mr Sothea drove very carefully on some very bumpy roads. Ms Sam was our guide and was very knowledgeable and took time to answer everyone's questions and take loads of pictures.

Wonderful full day out- so many experiences. Mr Sam was a phenomenal guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Experiences included food tasting, swimming in the waterfalls, seeing how a variety of indigenous cultures live in the mountains and by the lake and of course visiting a temple, although this was the remains of an ancient temple and much more interesting. Sothea was also a great driver on some very small roads. Cold water and towels were much appreciated. Thank you, an incredible day out.
