På denna stadsrundtur vandrar du genom gator fyllda med byggnader i kolonialstil, tar in panoramautsikt över havet från den berömda bryggan och får en smak av stadens rika kultur. Det är ett perfekt sätt att se höjdpunkterna och njuta av en fantastisk utsikt längs vägen! Denna tur tar dig också förbi Flamingos och Pink Salt sjöarna i Walvis Bay. Det blir lite shopping.

Hohenzollernhaus är ett ikoniskt historiskt landmärke som ligger i hjärtat av Swakopmund, Namibia. Denna fantastiska byggnad, som visar upp en blandning av tysk kolonial arkitektur och lokala influenser, är ett måste för alla historieentusiaster eller resenärer som vill förstå regionens unika kulturarv. Hohenzollernhaus byggdes ursprungligen i slutet av 1800-talet och har bevittnat Swakopmunds utveckling från en livlig hamnstad till ett pulserande turistmål. Med sin tyska stil fasad och torn latticed i grönt och guld, historiska Woermannhaus är en Swakopmund ikon som är bland stadens äldsta byggnader. Idag är detta nationallandmärke ett offentligt bibliotek och konstcenter
Här ser du hundratals rosa flamingos vada i de grunda vattnen, deras levande färger står ut mot den blå lagunen. De natursköna lerslätterna lockar också andra fågelarter som pelikaner och skarvar.

Vi möter dig vid våra Desert Dunes och Dust Tours Gazebo vid inloppet till hamnen på ett kryssningsfartyg, vi kommer att stå i hamnen med namnskyltar. Vänligen notera alla kryssningsfartyg passagerare. Vi står i hamnen efter första porten med ett Lusthus som har vår logotyp på. Observera att din Guide också kommer att stå med en namntavla. Observera alla Cruise Liner passagerare, din tur Plocka upp tiden börjar en TIMME efter att du har dockat. OAVSETT VILKEN TID DU LÄGGER TILL. Turen avgår senast en och en halv timme efter plocktiden. Senkomlingar anses vara en no show.

A personal tour with another couple and the guide. Interesting journey to the town on excellent roads through dunes area. The town has some fascinating old buildings and also a surprising number of luxury shops. On the way back we visited the salt pans and saw flamingos in the distance and a couple of pelicans by the side of the road. The guide was very informative and personable.

Riaan our tour guide was amazing- friendly, insightful and generous with his humour and attention. He made the tour our highlight of visiting Namibia. Swakopmund is an interesting place, with German architecture and culture overlaid with modern Namibian life. The dunes, flamingoes and beautiful water setting were also great to see. There are few places like it in the world and it is well worth a visit. Can highly recommend this tour!

Exceptional tour Ludwig was a great guide. His English was quite good explained a lot of things as we drove, was able to make personalized stops. Return to the ship at the time specified if we’re here on another cruise, we would gladly take the same tour.

This was a very good experience if you want to learn about Namibia and get a brief overview of what is around Walvis Bay. The pick up at the cruise terminal was a little muddled as the guide we had been told to look out for wasn't the one we went with. We started off with another guide, changed and were then told we were doing a different tour. However, on a further check, this was rectified and we were really happy with the tour. Vincent is a wonderful young man who is passionate about his hometown and is a great ambassador for Namibia. We had a fabulous few hours and were very fortunate with our travelling companions.
