Kompong Kleang är en av de flytande byarna på sjön Tonle Sap. Tonle Sap-sjön är en största sötvattensjö i Sydostasien. Under torrperioden har sjön 2700\km2. Under regnperioden ökar sjöns storlek bara tre gånger jämfört med torrperioden. det finns mer än 200 fiskkryddor på. Dess har en mycket rymlig förbindelse med Mekongfloden under regnperioden, det är en reservoar för att återställa vatten från Mekongfloden. Det finns 5 provinser runt sjön, Siem Reap, Battambong, Pusat, Kompong Chhnang och Kompong Thom-provinsen. alla dessa 5 provinser har en mycket god potential för risskörd eftersom den huvudsakliga vattenförsörjningen från sjön. Under regnperioden kan du resa med båt till huvudstaden Phnom Penh.

It is my first time to go there with my guests. My guests they are very happy with natural living there. Real life for fishing. We can see many house with high pillars.

Fantastic morning spent visiting the Kompong Kleang floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake. Excellent service provided by Ra and his friend our driver. Ra is a fantastic tour guide. His English is very good and fluent. Touring with him is a history lesson in itself. He has vast knowledge of not only the Temples, but Siem Reap and surrounding areas. The beauty of touring with him is the hidden gems, where locals hang out, he will take you to. The van is large, clean and I always feel safe! The Floating Hut Restaurant is so relaxing after a visit to Kulen Mountain so, make sure to stop! Speaking of stopping, when or if you see something of interest, he will pull over so you can shop, taste local street food and find new off the beaten track delights.
