Fortsätt till den mystiska Black Canyon med sina mörka vulkaniska klippor och den surrealistiska Moon Canyon – bleka formationer som ser ut som ett månlandskap. Hoppa sedan ombord på en legendarisk sovjetisk UAZ - 452 terrängbil för en äventyrlig resa till Kaindy Lake - en nedsänkt skog där granar reser sig ur kristallklart turkost vatten. Avsluta dagen vid fridfulla Kolsaisjön, omgiven av tallskog och bergstoppar. This tour is absolute logistical nightmare. We were told 510am pickup. They were over an hour late. Tour company operator did not seem to have a control over the driver/tour guide. People i talked to on the tour experience similar pick up delay. It seems like the driver just did whatever he wanted despite the provided schedule. Guide was nice but did not provide any information about the tour.. it was just hours of silent bus ride.

Long day, but covers all key tourist places in 1 day. The staff was courtesies. Vehicle was comfortable for a long day journey
That was a wounderfull one-day trip! Our guide, Saida, was very nice and helpfull. All attraction sites are picturesque and suitable for tourists with any experience. There aren't any narrow or unsafe roads, so the ride was safe. The lunch is arranged at a guest house, which is very authentic. There were several meal options: rice with chicken/ beef and dumplings with potatoes only for those who don't eat meat. Also, a giant plus for me is the pick-up/drop-off service. With other companies you need to go to a meeting point in the city, which is not comfortable at all since the start is very early and everyone is tired at the end. Overall, I had a great experience and met wounderfull people, the tour is highly recommend!
Bauka was a wonderful guide! He was informative, communicative and knowledgeable. Something I've wanted on my trip in the Stans and not yet found in a guide! Our driver was also very very good! The lakes were amazing. It did absolutely throw it down with rain when we were at Kaindy lake which was hilarious but the photos looked very cool with all the clouds and it was very refreshing! Kolsai lake was really beautiful so worth seeing. The canyons were great, the yellow canyon was super busy and it's selfie stick and influencer heaven which I personally didn't enjoy. I would recommend good shoes for this, there isn't too much walking but where you do have to it's either rocky or muddy if raining! Overall it was a great tour!
Well orangised tour, the guide communicated well with the group. There's not much room inside the minibus to put your bag or stretch your leg. It's a long tour from 5.15 to 22.00
It was a really great experience, got to visit all of the places well. A very perfect one day tour. Our guide Leana did her job excellently and was extremely friendly and accomodating. The driver was also super nice and drove very safely. We had a warm Uyghur style lunch at a local house which was so nice :") Water was available in the van too. If you would like to explore each site in more detail, please take a 2 day tour. If you're in a time crunch this is perfect, all the places are super super beautiful.
I only had 3 days in Almaty and I wanted to see some of the natural wonders around Almaty, but I was hesitant about the prospect of a 17 hour day just after arriving in Almaty, but I’m so glad I went for it. Our guide Ayau did an amazing job. She was warm, friendly, full of energy (even starting an impromtu karoke session at one stage!) and knowledgeable. Ayau and our driver took good care of us from picking us up at our hotels in the morning to dropping us off at the end. The home cooked lunch was a really nice experence that other tours didn’t include. If you’re wondering whether to book the tour, do it. No trip to Almaty is complete without it seeing the lakes and canyons.
An absolute must-do tour! The landscapes at Charyn Canyon and the pristine waters of Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes were breathtaking. Everything was well-paced, smooth, and seamless. A massive thanks to our guide, Saida, who made the trip so memorable. She was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure our group was comfortable every step of the way. Highly recommend!
It was a tour that very much met my high expectations, as it was my first visit to a Central Asian country. Although the travel time was a bit long and tiring, it was good because the guide did their best to show us many things. Ayau Guide always looked after us with a bright smile for us who were getting tired and explained various historical knowledge. I felt that they enjoyed studying and their work, which made the tour even more enjoyable. However, the food was not very good.
