If I could give zero I would. We were contacted by the tour operator saying the driver would meet us at door 5. I got a what’s app message saying door 2 instead. When we arrived a young man had our name on a piece of paper and said to follow him. We did and arrived to an outside waiting area in the parking area. He left us and After 20 minutes he returned and showed us to an old beaten up car. The trunk was full of motorcycles equipment. I said no it’s a private Camry car not this car which we are a party of 2 with 2 medium suitcase which would not fit. Finally the driver showed up and said he had a problem with his car. Everything felt wrong here, the manger of the taxi stand came up to us with a police officer. The policeman questioned us we provided him the requested information. The taxi manager said the driver tried to pay him to take us to our hotel. The police said this is illegal and suggested we not go with any car that this driver tries and puts us in as he could not guarantee we would arrive safely. We decided to just use Uber instead. As we where leaving the driver said he could order us an Uber and I said no. He started to follow us to the elevator so the police escorted us to Uber area.

With the traffic so thick and congested we were happy to arrive at our hotel safe and sound. The driver was very polite and friendly. He told us a little history of India on the way
