En av de två mest populära helgedomarna i Kobe City. Det är en helgedom, och för den här är den mer dämpad... utan den berömda orange/röda överallt. Mycket populär för många olika viktiga firanden för lokalbefolkningen.
Vi kommer att passera genom hamnen och Meriken Park. Detta är ett vackert hamnområde för både lokalbefolkningen och resenärer. I Meriken finns många matställen och butiker att kika på.
Platsen där lokalbefolkningen älskar att shoppa. Närmare Daimaru-butiken är butikerna mer så kosmopolitiska, och när du går mot Kobe Station-sidan ser du en blandning av nytt och gammalt (många generationers ägda butiker).
China Town ligger inbäddat på sidan av Motomachi. Du kommer att känna att du befinner dig i ett helt annat område än när du kliver in på den här gatan. Du känner att du inte ens är i Japan längre.

8-timmars upplevelse rekommenderas om du vill att Nunobiki Falls ingår. Nunobiki har blommorna som blommar under den säsong du besöker. När du går längs trädgårdsstigarna har du utsikt över Kobe City Ocean/Sky-linjen längs vägen. Rolig åktur uppför berget på en "gondol" i rep; och på din resa upp kan du se Nunobiki-vattenfallet och andra hem, lövverk .... och inte att förglömma att nämna, utsikten över staden Kobe. Väl uppe på toppen kan du besöka museet för eteriska oljor och lukta på några prover, gå längs stigen med många mindre trädgårdar placerade i vackra mönster och besöka ett växthus med underbar syn och ljud av en strömmande flod. Om du vill kan du också äta lunch på örtrestaurangen, (med kurser av ätbara blommor). Du kan inte gå fel här om du vill se allt som Kobes stadslandskap har att erbjuda (berg, hav och allt däremellan).
Vill du prova KOBE BEEF? ... åh ja! Vi kan avsluta din rundtur på en rekommenderad restaurang, så att du kan ta dig tid att njuta. Om du föredrar att äta Kobe Beef till lunch under din upplevelse, kan vi göra det också :-)
Prior Kobe City Borgmästare privatbostad. På tomten, ett europeiskt designat häststall, vackra Japanska trädgårdar med dolda områden att utforska, och en gammal båthus. Här transplanteras också ett hem från en utländsk nybyggare handlare, och de flesta dagar kan vi turnera genom detta hem.

Michelle was an amazing tour guide during our stop in Kobe. Since it was our first time there and we had limited time at port, we really appreciated how much she was able to show us in such a short amount of time. We did a walking tour that also included riding the subway, which gave us a great feel for the city and how locals get around. Michelle made everything easy and stress-free while still fitting so much into our day. She introduced us to local candies, Kobe beef, and ice cream, all of which were amazing and made the experience even more memorable. It felt like we were able to experience a great mix of the local culture and food in just a few hours. Michelle was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized, and we are so glad we got to spend our time in Kobe with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Kobe for the first time!

Just be aware that your review can disappear while writing it as mine did both times so keeping it short! We started our tour by riding the Ropeway to the Nunobiki Gardens which provided amazing views of Kobe and the waterfall below. Once at the top we walked around the many gardens with beautiful flowers and herbs. The Cherry blossoms were in full bloom which made our visit very special. We enjoyed a coffee and cake while admiring the views below but the cafe is very expensive! There are lots of concrete paths and steps as you descend the mountain. We finished our tour at a restaurant in downtown Kobe and enjoyed the very tender flavoursome Wagu beef. A must do in Kobe.

Our day with Michelle was fabulous. She went out of her way to show us what real life is like in Kobe. She answered all of our questions openly and honestly and we had many laughs along the way. She took us to a fantastic restaurant to try Kobe beef, we shopped for vintage candy and even in a second hand store. Her photos were great too! Everything she showed us was thoughtful and the day flew by. Her perspectives from both east and western living were very insightful and we felt like we had made a new friend by the end of the day. Excellent tour, the guide was very friendly, the restaurant Kobe recommended us was delicious. It rained all day but we managed to do the whole itinerary and had a great time.

We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Michelle. She is from Kobe but spent many years in the US. She showed us a couple of shrines, which were beautiful but explaining her inside knowledge of the everyday life of the cities residents was something that really fascinated us. She explained different shops, hotel, the inside daily activity of neighborhoods etc. that you never get on a regular tour. Because this wasn't just seeing tourist attractions, this was one of our favorite tours ever... and we do a lot of traveling.

We really liked this tour because the guide was born and raised in Kobe but lived in the US for many years so she was able to explain parts of her city that would be new to us. She showed us a couple of wonderful shrines, a neighborhood and how people lived their daily lives, local shops, malls, waterfront, etc.. She was very accommodating to our needs and wishes. It was a great day.

Michelle's tour around her town was a lot of fun. The tour is really custom to what you want to see. We learned a lot about Japanese history, things we didn't learn from other guides in Japan. We got to see the sights, see great views, eat Kobe beef, drink Kobe sake and stroll around local neighborhoods. My wife enjoyed shopping with her and learning about local stores/souvenirs and buying some Japanese candies. She's also a great photographer, we got some great photos together. A very personalized tour, it felt like strolling around a town visiting an old friend. I would definitely recommend her tour.
