Knik Glacier Kajaktur från Anchorage : 4x4 Off-Road Adventure

Beskrivning

Just did the off-road vehicle and kayak tour at Knik Glacier, and it was absolutely exciting! The bumpy ride through the rugged terrain was thrilling, and kayaking right in front of the massive blue glacier was breathtaking. Our guide was so nice—super friendly, funny, and never rushed us at all. We had plenty of time to soak in the views and truly enjoy every moment. Left feeling completely satisfied and exhilarated. Highly recommend this combo if you want a relaxed yet adventurous day in Alaska!
Before experiencing Knik Glacier Kayaking, I had already attended Bear Glacier Kayaking in Seward. If it was one or the other, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Knik Glacier. The journey begins with a thrilling 4×4 off-road ride through rivers, streams and wilderness terrain inaccessible to ordinary vehicles. The off-road experience alone is well worth it. Upon arrival at the glacier, the view is stunning. The icebergs floating on the lake are bigger than I thought, and Knik Glacier's breathtaking view from the mountains all the way to Glacier Lake is even more memorable. After simple safety instructions, we started kayaking through the huge iceberg. The whole process was peaceful, with only the sound of a paddle across the water and the occasional crackling of ice. Each iceberg has a different shape and color, making the whole experience fresh. It's not just a kayak trip, it's a combination of great cross-country adventures and some of Alaska's most spectacular glacial landscapes. If you come to Alaska and only plan on experiencing glacier kayaking once, I highly recommend Knik Glacier Kayaking. It was one of the best and most memorable experiences I've had on my entire Alaskan journey. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was one of the best birthdays I could have had, the off roading was fun and through beautiful areas. Saw a few moose with their calf’s, and the kayaking offered awesome picture taking opportunities.
We had a great time! We were right in front of the glacier and iceberg! We saw these layers of ice , air bubbles inside it, even heard the ice breaking down sound inside of it. Its like literally we were inside the ice age :p. The site is at foot of massive Knik glacier, you can see glacier in the mountains and flow down to the river! The site is remote, thanks to our tour guide Daniel! He drove us through the forest, with mud, water, and all of that wild nature! We saw mountain goats, moose in the wood! The road ride was very fun. There is no way we can do it ourselves. It is that type of activity you need a tour. Highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed!
Really cool adventure day in Alaska for me (48 year old mom) and my 17 year old son. Leo was our guide and he was amazing. The overlanding/offroading portion was a bumpy and super fun ride. Kayaking amongst the glaciers was breathtaking. You'll stop on the way out to grab lunch to bring with you. Pack warm clothing and gloves, it's cold! No cell service for most of the trip but plenty of opps for photos. We saw moose and mountain goats on the way! I would definitely recommend this for a day of fun and adventure.
We had an epic time! Our guide Daniel was awesome. Although we a some rain we didn’t let that stop us, paddling through the blue glaciers was a bucket list experience!
Amazing views and kayaking next to the glaciers was the closest you can get to your own private tour where no one else goes!
I'm upset I can only give them 5 stars! This was an AMAZING day! The ride in was long and very dicey at times, but you can't change the location- it was totally worth it. The staff was incredible and very informative. I feel like it fulfilled a bucket list item that I didn't even have on my list. Thumbs up!!!
We travel a lot and have done all sorts of tours in various places. This was hands down the BEST tour we’ve ever done. The off-roading was fabulous, but the kayaking was phenomenal! We were the only people on the water - had the whole lake to ourselves. Fen stayed close as we kayaked, but let us go where we wanted. Daniel sent us the most amazing photos and videos - and then went above and beyond when my son left his headphones in the back of one the jeeps. So logistics - they picked us up and dropped us off, they had sandwiches, snacks and water. And slip on ‘pants’ to keep us dry in the boats.
Leo was excellent, the tour, the off-road experience and the kayaking were simply amazing. Highly recommended as you won’t regret it!
