Detta kommer förmodligen att vara höjdpunkten på din Namibia-upplevelse och skapa eviga fina minnen. Vi har hört saker som: "Den bästa turnén i mitt liv"; "Den vackraste platsen på jorden". Detta är ett absolut måste turné att göra i Namibia. Vi har välutbildade guider som alltid vidtar säkra försiktighetsåtgärder. En lätt lunch helt själv i vidöppna ytor, med dyner och havsutsikt och blå himmel. Helt fantastisk. För att njuta av Sandwich hamn till fullo måste man boka heldagstur. Vårt första stopp är vid Walvis Bay esplanaden. Här ser vi Pink Flamingos. Vi lär oss om de större och mindre Flamingos. Vi sänker däcktrycket till 0,8 bar och är redo att ta oss an strandturen. Vi passerar de rosa saltsjöarna i saltgruvan och passerade hundratals vadare och palearktiska flyttfåglar i lagunen, längs stranden till den höga hamnen Dunes of Sandwich. Magnifika vidöppna ytor när sanddynerna närmar sig havet. Vi går in där sanddyner möter hav på en smal strandremsa. Fantastisk utsikt över sanddyner och promenader väntar oss. Vi tar en berg-och-dalbana som pirrar i magen till utsiktsplatsen Sandwich harbor. Viken ligger vid dina fötter, omgiven av Nara-busken. Sandiga sandbankar svämmar över i viken och det gröna havet med blå himmelsröda sanddyner är helt fantastiskt. Vi tar en sanddyntur till de bästa vyerna, letar efter djur i öknen och letar efter en unik picknickplats. Lunch med utsikt över sanddynerna, tyst, väldigt tyst bara vi runt omkring. Vi har tid för sanddyner och strandpromenader.
Vår rutt tar oss genom sanddynerna och en game drive där vi kan se strutsar, Oryx, Jackal och Springbuck. På stranden kanske sälarna sover eller leker, och om vi har tur får vi se delfiner och valar. Rutten är tillbaka längs stränderna med tusentals fåglar. Tyvärr hamnar vi i Walvis Bay. Vi tankar upp och luftar upp och tar dig tillbaka till ditt hotell.

Upphämtningsplatser och tider
Vi hämtar upp gäster i Swakopmund och sedan i Walvisbay och på vägen. Alla passagerare på kryssningsfartyg: Håll utkik efter vårt lusthus med namnet Desert Dunes and Dust Tours på när du lämnar kryssningsfartyget. - Observera att de tyska guiderna är begränsade och att vi inte har kapacitet att ge alla en tysk guide. Dessa kommer att tilldelas enligt först till kvarn-principen. Observera att vi inte kan garantera en tysk guide på varje tur!!
- Observera alla Cruise Liner passagerare, din tur upphämtningstid börjar en timme efter att du har dockat. Turen avgår senast en och en halv timme efter upphämtningstiden. Senkomlingar anses vara en no show

The guide - Andrew was very knowledgable and humorous, we got to know information that we were not aware about the bides, the landscape, the seals and etc. overall we just enjoyed ourselves very much, a day that very well spent

We chose the "Sandwich Harbour tour" to have a guided visit throughout the day, exploring the natural wonders of Swakopmund. The guide (Ryaan) was very welcoming, nice, and super helpful for any of our needs, taking us to key points to admire the beauty of the landscape. On the way to Sandwich Harbour, we visited the flamingo colonies, as well as the salt pans in the port area. Once we entered the desert, Ryaan took us to all the most iconic spots, customizing the route to see as many typical animals as possible. We spotted ostriches, oryx, springbok, jackals, and pelicans. Ryaan gave us a special and romantic moment by preparing a light lunch on a dune with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Everything was perfect.

Impressive, very diverse, and all-day jeep tour. Our driver Victor was very nice, experienced, and we felt very well taken care of. Authentic and very delicious lunch in a great location. The organization on-site was top-notch and super easy (booked through My Shore Excursions; from the port of Walvis Bay). We can only recommend this tour to everyone.

We have had the most exciting and adventourus experience thanks to our fantastic guide/driver Andrew. In addition to be a good and safe driver - he is super serviceminded, helpful and professional. He is a really good story teller and he is highly skilled in Namibias historiy, culture, wildlife, biologi and geologi. We learned a lot about animals and plants as well as about industrial life and exports in this country. We were even served a nice lunch with different kinds of drinks - water, cider, beer, juice and cola cola. After this tour, we feel richer than yesterday. We will give our very best recommendations about Andrew and this tour.

The day tour to Sandwich Harbor was great fun! Beautiful environment, fun driving on the beach and in the dunes, good lunch! You spend quite a bit of time in the rig, obviously, but it is worth it! Driving in the dunes was the highlight, but the salt ponds, flamingos and sea lions were also interesting. One area of improvement would be to put working seat belts in the vehicle. Ours did not have belts in the back seat, which seemed dangerous, given the kind of extreme driving we were doing. Otherwise, great tour! Would Recommend!
