Följ med på denna 4-timmars guidade matresa och upplev österrikisk matkultur. Österrikiska mest utsökta rätter och viner. Det wienska kaffehuset är idealiskt för en bra start på dagen. Lär känna ett av de sista traditionella kaféerna i sitt ursprungliga skick och njut av ett stort urval av kaffe och kakor. Därifrån kommer vi att besöka den berömda Naschmarkt där vi smakar en mängd österrikiska ostar. Ät och drick som en lokalbo. Vid vårt nästa stopp njuter du av traditionell Leberkäse och tillbehör. Låt oss då unna oss något sött. Därför kommer vi att upptäcka en av de bästa och sista godisfabrikerna i Österrike. Efter en kort promenad förbereds allt för en vinprovning av typiska österrikiska viner i en historisk vinkällare. Bland de tre viner som provas finns Grüner Veltliner. Upplysande besök i en hantverksmässig chokladbutik och slutligen besöker vi en slakteributik där vi provar österrikisk baconskinka med ben och mer. Kom törstig och hungrig!

Private tour with very knowledgeable guide, Lucus. Loved the wine tasting & areas we were brought, & tasted authentic Austrian food!
Our guide was excellent. Loved the more off the beaten path cakes, candies, local choices for cheeses, meats and wine. Full of suggestions on where to shop and dine. One our favorite tours on this trip to Vienna.

The tour was well thought out with good food and interesting stops along the way. However I felt it was a little overpriced for what you got and Lucas had a strange attitude towards tourists - with quite a few disparaging comments. I felt this was a little inappropriate given we were clearly tourists ourselves and his business is dependent on tourism.
A fantastic cross section of the city's gastronomy. You have coffee, a cheesemonger, a baker, chocolatier, a butcher, etc - with a wine stop too. We've already (48 hours later) revisited two of the locations from the tour. It comes highly recommended from us.
Did food tour of Vienna our first day. Our guide, Lucas, is a former chef and very knowledgeable about food, wine, and cultural traditions of the region, and kept our group (11 people) very engaged the entire time. Adequate time was given for shopping at a candy and chocolate shop, both stops on the tour. At the end of the tour Lucas gave out maps of recommended restaurants and coffee houses. Overall an excellent experience! Thank you Lucas.
I really enjoyed this food tour! Definitely come hungry as there is a lot of food to eat. We had an excellent mix of authentic foods from sweet to savory. I thought all the details of the tour were very well done and I liked tasting authentic Austrian dishes and artisanal products I would not have known to try. Our tour guide was very funny and I appreciated hearing his insights on local food and products.
Great insight into the Vienna food scene in a relaxed, fun way, visiting a number of different places to sample lots of tasty treats, including some very nice local wine. Lukas, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable and the tour was very well thought out.
A wonderful way to start our visit to Vienna. We had a very enjoyable walk around Vienna talking and learning about local foods. Everything we sampled was delicious. It was personalized and our guide was patient and attentive to our needs.
