Klassisk Inka Trail till Machu Picchu

We very much enjoyed our trip with Samtravels and our guide Jose. His knowledge, passion and positive energy made the experience much more memorable. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience doing the 4 day Inca trail with SAM Travel Peru. We had a small group of six people and were all taken care of really well. There hikes were tough but doable for all of us at our own pace. Our guide Manuel knew so much about the history, flora and fauna of the national park and told us all about it. You can notice how experienced he was and how much he liked being a guide! Also, the cooking of our chef Andres was so good, incredible what he can make from a tent! And, even though it does feel a bit strange to have other people carry your stuff, it blew our minds how fast the porters were with carrying the bags and setting up camp every day. So much respect for these guys. Good to know before you go: the toilets along the way are really not the best, be prepared for this. Also, the driving was okay. Less comfortable than other trips we had in Peru. Small point of improvement.

Amazing experience. Views are amazing and the guides and porters help you out so much along the way. Our guide Abel was very nice and explained a lot about Inca history and culture. The porter were a lot of fun and the cook made delicious meals especially the soups each evenings. My wife and I were the only people on this tour so we were treated like royalty. The smaller local operators really seem much better than some of the big groups that we passed.

Very smooth experience, our guide Abel was fantastic, cooks and porters are superhero’s. No way it would be possible without them. Hike was tough but that’s expected. Very busy at Machu Picchu but that’s also expected.

We did the 4 day Inca Trail, Manuel was our guide and he was incredible. He was very full of knowledge about the inca sites and the history of the trail and Machu Picchu! The chef Andres and porters did an amazing job and made us feel very looked after! We were in a small group which made it feel more personal and able to stick together at a great pace. I would definitely recommend sam travel to anyone looking to do the Inca Trail to Mach Picchu!

Unforgettable Inca Trail Experience with SAM Travel Peru! I recently traveled to Peru with SAM Travel Peru, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Our Inca Trail guide, Manuel, was outstanding. He was attentive, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the Inca trails and ancient Inca history, and he always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The porters and our chef, Andres, were equally remarkable. They worked tirelessly to make sure we enjoyed every moment, even during the toughest stretches of the trek. The day before our 4-day Inca Trail hike, we took a Sacred Valley day tour with our guide, Christian T., who was kind, welcoming, and a wonderful introduction to Peruvian culture and its rich history. If you're looking for a tour company, I highly recommend SAM Travel Peru. They went above and beyond at every step and made our trip a memorable experience we'll treasure for years to come. Had the best experience with Manuel as our guide doing the 4 day Inca trip. Our chef Andres prepared the most phenomenal food, the porters were incredible carrying everything up for us and Manuel was awesome. He shared amazing information about the sites and kept our energy up with lots of laughter. Would highly recommend!!

This was a great tour to get to know mote about Cusco and the Incan legacy in the sacred valley and Machu Pichu. Joesp was a great tour guide, making sure we made it to all the sites and helping take very good pictures.

I had a very nice time on this tour! Josep was very kind and patient with everyone in the group and had a lot of valuable information to share. He had helped with taking group photos and sharing facts about every area we visited!

Our group of five had a great experience with our guide Plinio. He was friendly, hard working and very supportive during the hardest parts of the trek. One of the many highlights was the food. Our chef Julio prepared delicious and nutritious meals every day with fresh local ingredients. He knew exactly what we needed to keep us energized for our challenging days.
