Machame-rutten, känd som "Whisky" -rutten, är nu den mest populära rutten på berget. Jämfört med Marangu är dagarna på Machame längre och promenaderna brantare. Machame-rutten anses vara en svår rutt och är bättre lämpad för mer äventyrliga människor och de med lite vandring eller backpackingupplevelse. Vägen börjar från söder och sedan mot öster och korsar under Kilimanjaros södra isfält före toppmötet. Det minsta antalet dagar som krävs för denna rutt är sex dagar, även om sju dagar rekommenderas. Machame-rutten är vackert och varierad. Men på grund av de tunga folkmassorna förlorar den en del av sin spendor

I had an absolutely wonderful experience! The guides were exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They created a welcoming atmosphere, explained everything clearly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the entire experience. The food was very good, with great variety. The organization was flawless from start to finish. Everything ran smoothly and easy. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a well-organized, enjoyable, and memorable experience. I hiked Kilimanjaro through Marangu Route with Enjoy Kili. The team was really good, friendly, and professional, always with a smile on their face. Their flexibility allowed us to even finish the trip in 4 days (I wanted to finish a day earlier). David was the main POC, offering prompt assistance during the booking and arrival. Dullah was my tour guide, he was really supportive and sending positive energy. The rest of the team, including the waitress, chef, and porters, were amazing people, and I'm happy to have hiked with them.
