Kilimanjaro Climb Marangu Route 6 dagar
Beskrivning
Marangu-vägen tar dig i en mild takt genom skogar, hedar och sedan över sadeln, en hög höjd öken som skiljer huvudtoppet, Kibo, 5895m, från den trasiga Mawenzi, 5149m, till Kibo Hut. Härifrån görs en tidig start för uppstigningen till Uhuru Point (toppen av Kibo). Stigen sicksackar upp en brant skree som är lättare att klättra när den är fryst. Utsikten från kraterranden vid Gillmans punkt i gryningen kan vara spektakulär. Uhuru Peak ligger precis ovanför. Detta är en tuff promenadresa men inom gränserna för en passande individ som vant är att vandra i bergsområden. En extra dag för acklimatisering till höjden rekommenderas på Horombo där det finns olika promenader att njuta av.

We had an amazing time with the team and with Shungu. We could see that he treated his team with a lot of respect, they are all friends from childhood and they admire him. That was one of the things that I valued the most. Everthing was as it was talked before, good food, they borrowed us clothes, good acommodation and we felt very cared. They are professional. I would recommend it. He has an ethic business and we could see thst we supported the locals.
