We had a great time being shown through the markets with Kong and then cooking with Sivorn. They give you information about the markets and what it’s like shopping and cooking in Siem Reap, show you round the vegetable patch and then you get to cook. I was shown how to flame beef (although I wasn’t too brave with it) and had a lovely time overall. I’m not a great cook so Sivorn was a great help to me haha

It was a perfect moment, the visit of the market was interesting. And Sivorn is a masterchef, she helps us with her full heart to make us happy. And… most important the food was delicious
What a great experience! Our guide Kong started off by taking us through a local marketplace, which was well outside of central Siem Reap and truly a market for local residents. He provided a lot of education and it was an important experience for both the adults and our kids to experience a little slice Khmer life. The cooking class was in a beautiful, covered, open air kitchen and dining room. We got to pick from a menu 4 dishes that we would prepare. We each got our own cooking station, including our 7 and 5-year-old kids, and Sivorn and Kong expertly switched between each of us to guide our cooking and explain what we were doing and why. The class messed with all of us feasting on our delicious creations and sharing travel stories with the other guests (who were also wonderful to be with!). I highly recommend this cooking class, not only for the delicious food that you’ll learn to prepare, but also for the friendly people and the cultural experience that you won’t get if you’re just visiting bars and restaurants in central Siem Reap. Thank you!

The cooking class was phenomenal with great guidance from King Kong. We had a choice for what food to make and eat. I left very full and happy.

I went to the vegetable market to learn about local life, came back to cook, babysitting tutorial, today is a one-on-two, the experience is good, the meals are also delicious, rare experience!
