Ditt äventyr börjar med en bussresa till norra änden av Ketchikan till det vackra Clover Pass. Du kommer att välkomnas och ledas ner till vår anläggning vid vattnet och introduceras till din tandemkajak och få en säkerhetsinformation från din guide.
Du får snabbt förtroende när du paddar till Eagle Island. Det skyddade vattnet i Clover Pass ger oss möjligheten att verkligen njuta av den lugna miljön i Tongass National Forest.

**Kom senast TURTIDEN.** Vår representant väntar dig då på "The Rock" (en naturlig bronsstaty av människor). "The Rock" ligger på kaj 2 som ligger mittemot hörnet av Mission och Front Street. Vår representant kommer att hålla en skylt som säger namnet på din turné, "Alaska Boatman Tour" eller "Eagle Island Sea Kayaking". Vänligen tillåt dig själv upp till 15 minuter från det att du går av kryssningsfartyget för att hitta mötesplatsen beroende på vilken båtplats för kryssningsfartyg du anländer på. Se nedan för ankomst till Ward Cove Dock (Norwegian Cruise Lines och Oceana Cruise Lines) Ward Cove-gäster (Norwegian and Oceana Cruise Lines): Om din tur är tidigare än kl. 09.00 vill vi hämta dig på Ward Cove. Om din turnétid är efter 09:00 har du tid att besöka staden innan din turné om du vill. För norska fartyg är detta ofta din enda chans att se centrala Ketchikan, ta den kostnadsfria transfern från Ward Cove Dock (var noga med att ge dig själv 45 minuter från det att du hoppar på bussen tills turnémötet/starttid.. Kl. 9.00 skyttelkön kan vara mycket lång! Early bird får masken! Shuttle (15-20 min resa) kommer att släppa av dig på Dock 4 och det är 10-15 min promenad till Dock 2 för att mötas kl. "The Rock" som beskrivs ovan eller så kan du begära att bli hämtad på Ward Cove, ring oss bara. Vänligen kom ihåg att om du blir hämtad vid Ward Cove Dock kommer vi att vara där 10-15 minuter efter mötestiden som anges ovan (VI REKOMMENDERAR DETTA FÖR ALLA TIDIGA MORGONTURER 7:00 - 9:15). För en Ward Cove-upphämtning kommer du att mötas inuti Ward Cove-terminalen i det bakre högra hörnet av byggnaden bredvid garageporten och badrummen. Leta efter vår representant som dyker upp i garageporten med en skylt med ditt TOUR-namn på. Jess and Jessica were very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us get in our kayaks and we just had a great time. We did paddle across the bay and went along the coast and around an island. We saw lots of sea life starfish and sea lions. Then it was really cool getting up close to the eagles. We are active 65 + people and it was just right for us. We met near the visitor center on the pier at Ketchikan Jess was great.
We had fabulous guides…Summer and Rusty. They gave excellent guidance about the kayaks, and provided us with interesting information about the area and the eagles. Both were warm, engaging, and entertaining…the best.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking adventure while in Ketchican during an Alaskan cruise. The admission was $139 per person and included transportation to and from the pier to the Southeast Exposure Outdoor Adventure Center. The bus driver gave a cheerful and informative commentary about the area, pointing out historical tid bits and local sites. At the center, which is a locally owned and operated business with multiple generations working there, we were met by Jesse, who geared us up and provided clear safety instructions. We all had tandem plastic kayaks and Jesse led us around the inlet where we saw sea lions, eagles, sea stars, various trees, and enjoyed the incredible beauty of the area. We kayaked over to and around Eagle Island before heading back to the dock. The kayak portion of the trip was approximately an hour. A bus was waiting to drive us back afterwards to meet our cruise ship. The outing was well organized and our guide, as well as bus drivers were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this excursion!
We had an amazing experience kayaking eagle island with Greyson. He was patient with our two kids ask a lot of questions. And very knowledgeable about spotting out wildlife. We saw sea stars, sea lions, and an eagle.

We had an excellent experience. Our guide was Summer and she did terrific. She was professional and knowledgeable and friendly. She explained how to safely enter/ exit the kayaks and helped steady them for everyone in the group to keep us all dry. She helped us spot wildlife and was very informative about it all. We saw sea lions, purple sea stars, and bald eagles. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys kayaking or just the outdoors and wildlife.
Fun experience from start to finish. Our van driver was very entertaining with stories about his experiences in Alaska. He pointed out interesting things along the way. The day had started out rainy and windy but changed to calm, overcast, and pleasant. We wore spray skirts in the tandem kayaks so we wouldn’t get soaked. Our shoes did get a little bit wet from getting in and out. Our guided Summer, Jess and Haley made the experience fun. We saw several deer on shore as well as starfish.
Summer was a terrific guide. She knew where to take us in the kayaks. We saw eagles, jumping fish & a ton of star fish. We got to hold a jelly fish! The bonus was we (4) had a private tour bc the other folks did not show up! Happy to have done this tour & having Summer as our guide.
