Kejserlig galakonsert på Palais Auersperg Wien

We were absolutely thrilled to attend the concert at Palais Auersperg. It was a truly unforgettable evening, and every moment of the performance was captivating. My partner, who usually ends up dozing off during concerts, was completely engrossed from beginning to end. Watching him sit in awe throughout the entire performance was a testament to how exceptional the musicians and the atmosphere were. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful and memorable experience.

Thoroughly delightful and entertaining 1.5 hours concert with first-rate outstanding musicians, an exceptional opera singer, and beautiful ballet dancers. We bought Category A Seats to see the performers closer up on the stage in this intimate setting (the size of a hotel conference room). We love hearing the variety of all-time favorites arias and pieces by Mozart, Strauss, Pizzaola, etc. The performers' energy was contagious, as they were having a fun time too. Highly recommend and would go again.

The music and soprano were fantastic. I had issue with the how poorly the venue was. It was sweltering inside and as it was in the low 50s we had sweaters on. People all around us were squeezed in and hot. The venue was not nice at all there were stains in the carpet, the fake flowers at the foot of the stage were missing in areas and you could see the green foam. The “candles” in the chandelier and wall scones were all bent sideways or where the light bulbs were missing the lights. I wish I would have gone to one of the other options that I was contemplating as this was not what the photos showed nor what I thought a night out in Vienna to listen to classical music while on vacation would have been like. Very misrepresentations of the venue.

We enjoyed the concert which was a mixture of music, opera and ballet. Would highly recommend.

We got to experience a very watchable concert. The concert offered many well-known pieces and we enjoyed the whole performance. The room was relatively small and it gave us a close experience to orchestra, soloist and dancer.

Great experience. We were close to all the musicians. Along with the singing and dancing it felt like a real opera.

Went to s number of concerts while in Vienna and this one was the most fun. The soprano soloist had a strong clear voice that resonated through the room even when walking along the audience. When the time came for it she was very engaging with the audience. Also enjoyed the dancing which helped to interpret the music. They made the most of the small stage that they had to work open. The musicians were talented and enjoyed having the flute and oboe included which was a little different than most of the other small concerts we had been to that just had a string section. Good acoustics in the venue.

This concert was so much fun with a combination of instrumentalists, a soprano, and ballet dancers. The musical selections were outstanding with Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Strauss, Brahms and others. The venue was beautiful with fine acoustics. The pianist, Vinicius Kattah, was the charming master of ceremonies while the first violin, Daniel Holguin, played very well and kept the musical ensemble moving along at just the right pace. The soprano, Brigitte Simon was an excellent vocalist and very vivacious and entertaining. The dancers were very good and very entertaining. If you are in Vienna don't miss this gem of a performance in a classic venue.

We love our classical music, so when in Vienna, a unique opportunity to attend a live performance was never in doubt. The Imperial Gala Concert offers exactly that, and in Palais Auersperg no less. Look, this is a commercial initiative aimed mainly at the tourist market. So I've heard better performances, but never in Vienna. It was a most enjoyable evening and I would recommend it - but book concert only, skip the meal (much better food elsewhere at much lower prices).
