Klar för att göra din dag i staden till en rolig upplevelse för hela familjen? Börja med att se National Monument till Victor Emanuel II på Piazza Venezia. På baksidan av monumentet ligger det antika romerska området i staden, Forum Romanum och Colosseum. Då är det dags att köra vid Caracallabaden tills du når den härliga Pantheonen, där du får tid att utforska torget och gå in på platsen för att förundra sig på de inlagda marmorgolv och vackra statyer. Gå runt Piazza Navona med sina fantastiska monumentala fontäner och klättra upp trapporna vid Spanska trappan för att se den livliga torget nedanför innan du leder till Fontana di Trevi för att kasta ett mynt för lycka till och en säker retur till Rom. Den gamla romerska lagen förbjöd begravningen av den avlidne inuti stadsmuren, så de byggdes längs Appian Way, som var utanför väggarna. De är ett nätverk av passager som kan sträcka sig över 15 miles under jord, så att besöka dem är endast tillåtet med hjälp av en katakombguide som tillhandahålls av webbplatsen.

Catacombs were an incredible experience. It was humbling to walk amoung where 100's of thousands of dead used to be. All the precious tiny tombs of the young and the larger tombs for those poor families killed together, were the most impactfull. As this was a private tour, Peter (our driver) was quick to offer suggestions for personalized day and was an absolute joy to spend the day with. We could not have been treated better or felt more special than the way Peter made our family feel. Thank you Peter for a perfect day spent!

This was our 4th trip to Rome but on this private tour we saw many things we never saw before and it was presented to us by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide whom we thoroughly enjoyed.
