Discovery Balloons provided an excellent experience from start to finish. Everything was well organised, the staff were friendly and professional, and our pilot made us feel safe throughout the flight. Watching the sunrise over Cappadocia was absolutely breathtaking, and the views were unforgettable. The smooth landing and attention to safety were impressive. This was the highlight of our trip, and I would highly recommend Discovery Balloons to anyone visiting Cappadocia.

This is a must to do in Cappadocia. We stayed in Goreme and we were picked up at around 4 am in the morning with a van. All very well organised. We had breakfast first then off we went to first see how the balloons were inflated. The light was about to come in the horizon. One climbs over in order to get in the balloon. For people with mobility issues I think this would be a problem and definitely not with babies or very young children. We were one hour in it floating about a huge area as we saw the beautiful sunrise and fairy chimneys. Breathtaking. Guide was very good. All went very smooth. I would highly recommend it with observations from above.

Be prepared to get a very early for the pickup. The tour starts with a quick cup of coffee and knosh and then out to a field where they inflate the balloons. You launch with a hundred other balloons at the same time. The basket is divided into sections of 3-4 people making you feel very safe and secure. My wife is scared of heights and yet when we took off so gently she never ever was afraid. The sunrise while you're up in the air and the view of the majestic terrain is breathtaking. One of the best activities we have ever done. Highly recommended!

Well worth the money, one of the most incredible experiences we've had! The pickup was early, and gave us enough time for a quick breakfast of mostly baked goods. Our flight operator Ibrahim was exceptional, and gave us many opportunities to see the formations and valleys close by flying low. He also rotated the basket throughout so we could get a view from every side. We didn't miss out by being in the middle. Each compartment was 4 people so a little tight but enough space to be comfortable. Mimosa and cake after was a nice touch!
