The tour of the Cave Church was amazing. The young man who conducted my tour was very friendly and knowledgeable and also a very good photographer. He was a member of the church clergy. That said, the gentleman who the tour company claimed was a tour guide, was a great disappointment. He could not answer any of my questions. He also took me to multiple businesses along the way, which I knew about because of the research I had done. I had no problem with that, it was interesting to learn about the different local produces. But, it turned out that we spent the majority of my time doing this. The deal breaker was when he asked me if I wanted to see the Citadel for $30, which I agreed to. We arrived at the Citadel , got out of the car and he took some nice pictures of me. As I went to enter the Citadel he stopped me and announced that entrance was not included. At that point I was done and questioned how he could charge me $30 to drive into a parking lot. I told him to just take me back to the hotel that I was done with him. He did contact the tour company and refunded my $30, but I was very disappointed in him.

We took this tour to see the Cave Church and Garbage City. Our driver, Raafat, was very nice and a great driver, which we appreciated. However, before the actual trip started, we were taken to multiple shops. We tried our best to refuse these stops as we just wanted to get to our destination, but we were taken anyway, which was a bit frustrating. Once we actually got on our way, the drive through Garbage City was a truly unique experience, and the guide we had at the Cave Church was incredibly informative. Overall, a good trip, just be prepared to firmly push back on the pre-tour and post-tour shopping if you aren't interested.

We booked super last minute but the agency was super communicative and flexible! Had a great tour of Cave Church, highly recommend going!

Great tour by Selvia of the Coptic quarter. She was very knowledgeable about all the details and we’ve learned quite a bit from our time with her. Also good that we availed of a tour guide for our visit since this area is quite complicated to explore. Pick up and return was good and timely. Thanks.

Raafat was very informative and helpful. He had a church guide give us a detailed tour of the beautiful cave church. Ride thru garbage city was was enlightening.

Our driver Raafat gave us a wonderful time in Cairo. He took us to reputable shops, we got wonderful things, with very friendly and non-intrusive people. We felt safe and in good hands at all times. I would give it 11/10 stars! We had half a day with Raafat & from the music in the car to his great, likable and funny way was just everything a dream! Raafat was extremely knowledgeable about the area and we talked about recycling and culture on the way to and from the Cave church. The tour with Magda at the church was also very informative!

A fantastic tour. It was a last minute addition to our itinerary and what a score. Fady was so knowledgeable and engaged in sharing this knowledge. This tour is should not be missed. Everyone back home I shared this with was amazed by the pictures.
