Two kiwi girls had a terrific adventure with the BEST guide Raffel and boat driver Lewis. We were entertained with banter and a spectacular experience exploring the local rivers. We fished for piranhas then ate them, saw monkeys and many birds, dolphins and a sloth. Raffel was as curious as us but very knowledgeable, we were very impressed. Everyday Raffel was interacting with local villagers which was special. Food was delicious, fresh fruit. Accom comfy and time to relax amongst exploring too. We would recommend bang for your buck.

Excellent tour, days to disconnect in the jungle, and spot animals in their natural habitat, is not a tour full of luxuries but makes you connect with the customs and ways of life of people who call home, the jungle, and who strive to conserve their Amazon. Also, I recommend as a guide Rafael from the jungle who masters English perfectly and has a great knowledge of the area and legends. Finally, the only thing that can be improved or criticized is that they offer boufett and the truth is that they do not give that service is a plate of food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and water available 24/7.

Just finished an unforgettable trip in the Peruvian Amazon — easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. The jungle was incredible, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Our guides, Jack and Guido, were amazing — super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience both fun and safe. A real highlight was doing Kambo, and having Guido do it with us made it even more special and supportive. An incredible adventure and one I’d recommend to anyone. Five stars all the way.

We spent 4 days with Edwin in the jungle. With the Majete we fought our way through the scrub. Always careful to take into account our surroundings. Edwin tracks it all down. Monkeys, sloths, frogs, snakes. It was really a great experience camping 4 days in the jungle. Edwin told us so much and explained it to us. It is a wandering plant lexicon. There is no plant that he cannot determine and explain how to use it. We always feel absolutely safe with him. Besides, he's an excellent cook. Best regards Didi and Markus

I was a guest on a three-day lupuna jungle tour in November and it was an unforgettable experience. I am a woman who traveled alone and I felt safe, protected and at home. The mom prepares a delicious meal, the guide is super prepared and patient and all the boys are super smiley and welcoming. We visited the jungle, discovered plants, found animals, swam in the river, shared very nice moments in the village and danced cumbia with Gerardo, the best dancer in the area. I never felt in danger and was in the middle of the Peruvian jungle! I will never forget this trip,them and the beauty of this place!The best trip to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself. I left a piece of my heart there and hope that one day I will have the possibility to visit them again

Fantastic experience in the Amazon forest! Our tour guide RAFAEL DE LA SELVA was over the top! He showed us lots of animals in the natural habitat and every day was made special with new adventures! Really advice if you wanna have a REAL and AUTHENTIC jungle experience!

I joined the Amazon forest tour with Miki (Miguel). I find him a very caring tour guide. He cared if we had food good and cared if we liked the activities. We saw a lot of things such as special plants, insects, animals...etc. Not only seeing things, but also learn the life/knowledge in Amazon. There are a lot of acitivies available here. From looking for pink dolphin, fishing to BBQ in forest, you can arrange them in your favor. In short, it's a fully customized tour. You decide what you are going to do. Miki is born and grown up in Amazon forest in his childhood. With his knowledge and passion towards the rain forest, I believe you will have unforgettable expereience in the rain forest.

I recently enjoyed an unforgettable 5-day jungle tour with Lupuna Jungle Lodge, where the beauty of the Amazon rainforest truly comes to life. Our guides Jair and Luis were fantastic. There were many sightings of wildlife thanks to our knowledgeable guides who shared fascinating insights about the jungle life, medicinal plants and local culture and habits. The night walk through the jungle was an adventure like no other, as we explored the darkness with flashlights. We encountered tarantulas, which, while initially intimidating, became a fascinating learning experience under the guidance of our expert hosts. The combination of breathtaking wildlife and the serene comfort of the lodge made this trip a remarkable escape into nature that I highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic jungle experience! The lodge has plenty of hammocks to enjoy the early morning sounds of the Amazon awakening. Incredible captivating sounds of birds chatting amongst them. The food was very good. Amazing what Marie can serve in the middle of the jungle. The local town of Puerto Miguel gave us a glimpse into the everyday lifestyle of locals embracing the jungle day in and out. Amazing experience! Our guide Paul was so passionate about showing us everything the Amazon has to offer we could barely keep up. We went piranha fishing the afternoon we arrived and did three excursions every single day we were there. So fun. The lodge is very rustic but it cools down at night so we were able to sleep at night. There are animals everywhere but that’s why we went to the Amazon. We even swam in the brown water. Plus the food wasn’t bad. An amazing bargain!
