Judarnas historia i Oslo och Norge är kort och distinkt. Denna tur är också ovanlig eftersom den täcker det mesta av historien på en gata. Vi börjar framför platsen där den första judiska familjen bosatte sig i Oslo och fortsätter uppför stadens huvudgata Karl Johan. Gatan var alltid full av aktivitet, och det är ingen överraskning att judiska affärsmän också öppnade butiker där. Monument, parlamentsbyggnaden och till och med stadens huvudkyrka har alla någon koppling till judisk historia. Tänk att även kungafamiljen har något gemensamt med en judisk pojke från Tunisien. Turen åtföljs av många visuella material och berättelser från Oslos judiska församling. Turen avslutas vid synagogan. Tyvärr är det inte alltid möjligt att besöka den. Promenaden från slottet till synagogan kan vara utmanande. Inga problem, det finns möjlighet att ta en buss (biljetter ingår inte). If we could give Rami a 6 or 7, we would gladly do so. We cannot say enough positive things about how much we learned on our tour today and how much we enjoyed Rami’s ability to bring the stories he shared to life with pictures and places he pointed out. I have taken Jewish focused tours in many cities throughout Europe and this was truly one of the best. We very much appreciated being able to visit the synagogue during our tour. I did my homework in advance and saw only positive reviews and now I know why firsthand. Rami is an excellent tour guide.
This visit was magnificently interesting. Our guide, Rami, is a very friendly person, but he also proved to be very professional and particularly knowledgeable about his subject. We were treated to a very informative and fascinating visit.

Oslo Photo Tour I had the chance to have a photo tour during my visit here in Oslo. Rami is a very knowledgeable guide and not only that he knows interesting, non-touristy spots, but he also knew a lot about photography techniques. I am so glad to have this photo walk because I could learn a few things about Oslo (culture, history) and also photography (composition). Highly recommended for those who’d like to experience Oslo in an interesting way.
