Utforska den mångsidiga flora och fauna som kallar detta unika ökenekosystem hem och lära sig om lite geologi, också. Guidad av en certifierad California Naturalist som kommer att leda dig på en resa genom öknen, pekar ut intressanta växter, djur och geologiska formationer längs vägen. Gör dig redo att bli förvånad över den naturliga skönheten i Joshua Tree! Vandringen är ca 2 mil tur och retur. Medan större delen av vandringen är platt, var beredd att vandra sandig, grusig och lätt kuperad terräng. Midweek turer har ofta bara en grupp / familj så du kan få en privat visning! Great long walk with lots of stops. Our guide, Sharron, was amazing! She was so knowledgable! She answered all of our questions. I would rate this as EXCELLENT!

My walk with Sharon was great, she is super knowledgeable and took care to provide an experience that was both interesting and educational. She is also great at spotting lizards sunning on rocks!

This guided walk was a great way to learn about the plants and animals in the park. Sharon was in communication prior to meeting up, and answered last minute questions promptly. We learned quite a bit on our walk. It was educational, not exercise, so set expectations accordingly. It was a great way to start our visit in Joshua Tree.

We enjoyed this walk through the desert with Sharon, who explained the local desert geology, life cycle of the Joshua trees, identified flowers and animal scat and lizards and anything else that we came across. The trail was sand or packed sand and the walk was not strenuous. Our group was small so there was time for lots of questions and conversation. I think this was an excellent introduction to the area. The guide also had information about other places in the area to visit and things to do.

Sharon was a great guide, she was very knowledgeable and informative. The area was beautiful and unique area to explore. We are in our mid-60s and had no issues keeping up.

Sharon was a smart, fun and easy leader through the desert conservation area where we learned so much about the flora and fauna. We were so happy to learn names of plants and cacti as well as some history of the area. We had already walked in the park and she answered many questions with efficiency and a smile. Well worth the cost and we understood the JT so much better.
