Om du är på en kort affärsresa till Uganda och inte kan avvara mycket tid för en safari, erbjuder vår 1-dagars Jinja-turné en perfekt flykt från Kampala för att utforska tre viktiga platser. Efter en tidig frukost, runt 07:30 eller senare, från antingen Kampala eller Entebbe för att slå trafiken, tar vår resa dig genom natursköna te- och sockerplantager, såväl som livliga vägmarknader fulla av färgglada frukter och grönsaker. Längs vägen kommer du att besöka tre intressanta platser: Sezibwa-vattenfallen, där du kan förundras över den naturliga skönheten i det forsande vattnet; ta en kort vandring i Mabira-skogen och upplev den frodiga grönskan och det mångsidiga djurlivet; och slutligen, bege dig till Jinja för att bevittna källan till floden Nilen. Här kommer du att njuta av en båttur på Nilen, som erbjuder fantastisk utsikt och en chans att uppleva magin i Afrikas längsta flod när du tar dig till dess källa.

Sezibwa Falls ligger 32 km längs motorvägen Kampala-Jinja. Det är en av Ugandas dolda kulturskatter med en del som ägs av Buganda Kingdom och en annan av den anglikanska kyrkan i Uganda. ... Sezibwa Falls är 7 meter höga med vacker natur för avkoppling och njutning när fåglar sjunger i träden.
Mabira-skogen är ett regnskogsområde som täcker cirka 300 kvadratkilometer i Uganda, som ligger i Buikwe-distriktet, mellan Lugazi och Jinja. Det har skyddats som Mabira Forest Reserve sedan 1932. Det är hem för många hotade arter som primaten Lophocebus ugandae. Du kommer att kunna göra en kort vandring i mabira där du kan se apor och även olika fågelarter.
River Nile är den längsta floden i Afrika med Victoriasjön som källa. Floden börjar sin resa på 6 500 km till Medelhavet (Egypten) bredvid Jinja stad (Uganda) och håller Owen Falls-dammen källan till vattenkraft för Uganda med en annan damm under uppbyggnad för närvarande. Du kommer att kunna ta en båttur till huvudpunkten som kallas "nollpunkten"

Visiting Jinja was absolutely a highlight of my trip to Uganda. The nile is so massive and to actually have a boat ride on the nile is something I can not easily forget. We saw many many birds and two big monitor lizards! It's really cool to see where to source of the Nile is. The boatman could tell us a lot about the history of the Nile, the birds and about Jinja city. Our accommodation was top notch, right at the Nile with an amazing sunset. Loved every bit of this trip!
