Efter hotellet plockar du upp till Jerusalem i ungefär en timme och börjar en trevlig vandring i den fascinerande gamla staden, genom höjdpunkterna i det armeniska kvarteret, det muslimska kvarteret, det judiska kvarteret och det kristna kvarteret. Vi kommer att lära oss om judendom, kristendom och islam. Vi besöker "Shuk" som kallas "Suk" - den lokala Bazaren och besöker Cardo - den gamla romerska och bysantinska vägen. Besök det heligaste stället för det judiska folket, "Kotel" -Västra muren, känd som Wail Wall, där vi kan skriva en önskan på ett papper och fästa den i murens sprickor. Utsikt över området där tempelberget är. Fortsätt till det kristna kvarteret för att besöka den heligaste platsen i världen - kyrkan av den heliga graven - där vi besöker den sista stationen för korsningen av Via Dolorosa. Vi ser Golgotha där Jesus korsfästes och vi ser Edikula-strukturen - platsen för graven där Jesus begravdes och återuppstod. Vidare till den muslimska kvarteret för att se en av de heligaste platserna för det muslimska folket - Klippkupolen och Al Aqsa-moskén och lära sig om dessa platsers islamiska historia. Our tour of Jerusalem with Avi was one of a kind. We took a walk through different parts of Jerusalem the day before Passover and visited the holy sites of many different religions. Along the way, we stopped to get a quick bite, drink a coffee, and taste some local specialties. Our tour guide Avi was very knowledgable and provided us with historical insights that allowed us to understand the city in all of its complexities and contradictions. We were in a small group, so it was much easier to coordinate what we wanted to and when we wanted to do it. This allowed for ample shopping time and a smooth, relaxed pace. We saw all the important stops without feeling rushed, and Avi even helped us locate different shops where we wanted to buy specific items or find some gifts to bring back home to family and friends. All in all, a highly memorable and recommended experience!

If you really want to see the holy city in great details, this is the way to do it. I just finished the tour with three participants and walked the walk. Excellent tour guide Arora(?) and saw many places the big groups wouldn’t go. Arora is very knowledgeable and did a good job. Thumb up.
We decided to book this tour to help us navigate Jerusalem as newcomers. It turned out to be an incredible journey through the amazing history of the city, through knowledge but also trough a deep personal connection. We appreciated Avi’s deep understanding of the culture, the people and the history of this incredible place, and how he makes you actually understand among the complexity of it. Our group ended to be only 4 participants which made a very intimate cozy group. All questions were welcomed and despite the scorching heat, Avi was able to take us comfortably to all places.
