Det som gör denna resa oglömbar är att vi använder en 4 x 4 cabriolet jeep, som är fantastisk för 360 graders utsikt över skogen och ger också turen lockelsen av äventyr. Att besöka skogen i en jeep , ger dig den idealiska dimensionen av nationalparkens storlek , liksom dess sanna skönhet .

Tijuca Forest Tour, är förmodligen en av de 5 mest populära turerna i Rio de Janeiro stad. Skogen anses vara den största stadskogen i hela världen. Det representerar 7% av hela stadens territorium, och det är också känt som Rio-lungorna. Att besöka staden utan att se skogen är som att åka till New York och inte se centralparken. Rio handlar om naturen, vilda platser och vackra vyer. Alla dessa tre saker kan ses och njutas i Tijuca Forest. Vår tur tar dig över denna vackra gröna värld, medan fåglar, små däggdjur och exotiska växter kan ses längs vägen. Vanliga arter är Saguis- och Capuchin-aporna, liksom quatis (brasiliansk tvättbjörn) kan lätt upptäckas där. När det gäller fåglar, kan tukaner, kanarier, buzzards, hökar och många andra arter ses längs vägen. Olika rutter som kombinerar skogen med besök i Sugar Loaf, Corcovado och stränderna på västkusten kan också tas, kolla bara vår kombinationsdel. Turnén inkluderar besök i Taunay`s Falls (bara för bilder, utan dusch), Vista Chinesa (Chinese View) och Besökscenter.
Vi stannar till vid Taunay vattenfall för bilder och lite förklaringar om platsen och var dess namn kommer ifrån. Möjlighet att se vilda djur som tvättbjörnar och apor
Vi stannar utanför kapellet där vi utifrån kan se kända målningar från brasilianska konstnärer. Vi gör också en liten 20 minuters vandring runt kapellet
Vi kommer att stanna till vid Vista Chinesa (Kinesisk utsikt) som är en gammal konstruktion gjord i början av 1900-talet för att hedra den kinesiska gemenskapen som bodde i de nedre delarna av skogen, odla te. Utsikten över staden från den platsen är hisnande
Vi gör ett litet stopp vid Mesa do Imperador (kejsarens bord) ett stenbord byggt på 1800-talet, som brukade ta emot besökare från den höga vetenskapen i Rio, för picknick, inklusive vår kejsare Dom Pedro II.
Ett snabbt stopp vid Cachoeira dos Primatas (mOnkey`s vattenfall) ingår också. Platsen fick sitt namn på grund av den stora mängden apor som kan ses där varje dag
en liten sjö byggd nära utloppet av nationalparken på sektor A, mycket charmig och med många sköldpaddor och karpfiskar.

The tour was incredibly (Christo+ Nationalparc) well organized from start to finish. Bernardo was extremely friendly and clearly put a great deal of effort into everything. You can genuinely learn a lot during the tour, as he shares very interesting and engaging facts throughout. It was perfectly organized from A to Z.

Eliel, our guide, was very good. The “jeep” is a Chevrolet truck but was good. The forest is in the city. We saw no animals or birds. We could not go into the visitor center or the Chinese palace. The short waterfall was scenic. We were unable to go to the taller waterfall. The drive back through the beach areas was the highlight.
Hello there. Some parts of the park were closed because we had a sudden storm alert and when that happens the park closes some parts without notice. About the animals it is a natural habitat so we cannot guarantee that animals can be seen. But you forgot to mention that you saw the big rodents we call capybaras at the lagoon. It’s an open air Jeep so best to remind clients to bring some protection from sun or rain or winds. Best thing about this tour was some view points, looking down onto the city and surrounding area.
yes its an open vehicle and that is mentioned on the tour page but your tittle seems like you were dissapointed with that fact, sorry to hear that and thank you for the review
This tour was not as described. It was not in a jeep, and the "adventure" component was not as expected. We hiked less than a quarter of a mile on a trail from one side of a roadway to another. Our guide was not knowledgeable about the wildlife and didn't know much about the forest, its history, or other background. His driving was dangerous, and we even had a tire blowout after he hit a rock. He drove us to Santa Teresa and the Selaron steps, but he had nothing to share with us about what we were looking at. I would encourage other travelers to find a safer, more knowledeable tour operator.
I am not sure what you mean because we only use 4x 4 convertible vehicles in this tour and we call them jeeps. These are serious accusations about our vehicle and guide so can you qt least give us the name of the guide? Was it a driver guide or the tour had a guide and a driver?
My family and I had a blast on this tour. Felipe was our guide and he was puntual, super nice and knowledgeable about Rio and the forest. He took us to all the hot spots for excellent picture taking. He was helpful in taking our photos and getting us to our next tour. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Our jeep tour was great, and the guide was excellent. The Organizer told us (via WhatsApp) the day before that the hike to Pedra Bonita was canceled due to weather-related reasons and that we would be offered an alternate hike. However, the guide on the day of the tour told us there was no hike included and that it was just a jeep tour. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this tour. Management of this tour appears to be very unorganized.

Right from the first plea for help, Rio adventures were absolutely outstanding. They hooked us up with a tour that fit us beautifully. Communication was the best. We had the most amazing time with our guide, Gilberto, who was really patient, knowledgeable and so adaptable. He communicated with me via WhatsApp the day prior to our tour and his instructions about where to meet feom our cruise was precise and easy to follow.. a short 3min walk. Absolutely safe as houses. Our tour was so good, waterfalls and caves. The weather turned, and we ended up cutting our forest tour short.. our decision. But Gilberto took us to a few amazing places to fill in our time. We ALL thoroughly enjoyed our day.
