BeskrivningAlbert Hall Museum är statens äldsta museum och fungerar som statsmuseet i Rajasthan. Byggnaden ligger i Ram Niwas trädgård utanför stadsmuren mittemot New gate och är ett fint exempel på indo-saracenisk arkitektur. Det kallas också regeringens centralmuseum
Hawa Mahal, ett berömt landmärke i Jaipur. Vindspalatset som byggdes av Sawai Pratap Singh planerades faktiskt för att det kungliga hushållet skulle kunna besöka en plats som medborgarna också kunde använda. Palatset är en syn att se med böjda gitterverksbågar som tornar sig ovanför.
Stadspalatset är en annan plats som är värd att notera i Jaipur för sin konst och strukturella inslag. Palatset har separata trädgårdar och gårdar som täcker ett stort utsträckt område.
Jantar Mantar-monumentet i Jaipur innehåller världens största stensolur och är en UNESCO: s världsarvslista. Byggt av Rajput Kind Sawai Jai Singh och monumentet visar tidens arkitektoniska stilar. Farooq is a highly qualified tour guide. On top of his knowledge he is very passionate about his city which makes the tour very pleasant. On top of that he has good customer orientation and flexibility. Highly recommended.
Farooq was a great guide to Jaipur! He’s not only knowledgeable about the places we visited, his stories were also entertaining (with his great sense of humor). Farooq is also flexible and accommodates to our preferences and needs, and is definitely a guide that can bring you off the beaten track. Highly recommend!
The tour was comfortable, and excellently planned. Our guide Farooq was wonderfully informed and participated enthusiastically in taking beautiful photos for us. This is our first time in India, and we had such a great time with this short Jaipur day tour. Especially, everything has been planned very well by Farooq based on our interest. I highly recommend this tour for foreigners who want to see all the must-visit places in Jaipur city in a short period of time.
I travelled with my mum to Jaipur where our hotel AlSisar recommended as our guide for two days. Farouq gave us a wonderful tour, took us through the beautiful history of Jaipur, recommended the best places to shop and dine from which made our trip memorable. The one thing to call out is Farouq's honesty - my mum has a bad knee so everything Farouq recommend was around her comfort rather than push for long road trips or excessive climbing. Thank you Farooq ji!
BEST tour guide in Jaipur We met Farooq and on very short notice he agreed to take us on a tour the next day. Farooq is a fount of knowledge and such a positive person. He made the tour not only very interesting but also wonderfully fun! He listened to our wants and adjusted timings and attractions so that we could see and do everything we asked for (plus a spot of lunch and a shopping sojourn thrown in for extra measure) we could not have asked for better tour guide or nicer person. To top it all off, he is an outstanding photographer and know all the best locations for photo ops, so we have an array of wonderful photos to remember our day in Jaipur by. Definitely the best in the business!! FABULOUS person all round.
We had Farooq to guide us through Jaipur city for two days. The trip was fantastic. Farooq is a gentleman, humble, and very well mannered person with indepth knowledge of the history of the city.
I had the priviledge to have Farooq as my private guide for a whole day in Jaipur in December 2019 during my solo trip visiting India for a month. I travelled all around the world and had many private guides in my life : but the knowledge and the kindness of this first class gentleman were beyond my expectations ! Would definately recommend him anytime to enhance your experience and get the most of the « Pink City »...

I spent a day with Farooq in Jaipur city and it has been one of the best tour guide experience I ever had after traveling to 30+ countries globally. Our day in Jaipur with Farooq was amazing! We booked through our hotel and did not have anything specific planned, so we just followed Farooq’s lead and it turned out to be a very exciting day. He is very nice and made us (two women) feel safe. Make sure you go to Masala Chowk - such delicious and cheap food!
