Agra är ett stort turistmål på grund av dess många byggnader i Mughal-era, framför allt Tāj Mahal, Agra Fort och Fatehpūr Sikrī, varav tre är UNESCOs världsarvsliv. Agra är en stad i norra Indiens Uttar Pradesh-stat. Det är hem till den ikoniska Taj Mahal, ett mausoleum byggt för Mughal-härskaren Shah Jahans fru, Mumtaz Mahal (som dog i födseln 1631). Den imponerande huvudbyggnaden har en massiv kupol och invecklad snidad vit marmor inläggd med ädelstenar. Detta ligger bakom en reflekterande pool inuti en innergård definierad av 4 minareter.

Vid ankomst @ Agra, mot Taj Mahals magiska lockelse, säger inte så mycket om det eftersom ord inte kan motivera dess skönhet, du måste se det själv.
Efter att ha sett Taj Mahals skönhet tar föraren dig till den andra spektakulära platsen Agra ... Kör till Agra-fortet (Röda fortet): - Detta enorma röda sandstenfort ligger bredvid en spredande 94 tunnland parallellt med floden Yamuna och ligger 2 kilometer nordväst om Taj Mahal. Agra-fortet (Red Fort) ockuperades ursprungligen av Sikarwar Rajputs och fångades senare av Lodi-härskare i Delhi. 1526, efter att Lodierna besegrades i slaget vid Panipat, tog segerns kejsare Babur över fortet. Efter att ha förlorat fortet kort till Suri-härskarna återvanns det så småningom av Akbar som gjorde Agra till hans huvudstad.
Efteråt kommer föraren att ta dig till Mehtab Bagh, det bästa stället att titta på Taj. Och sedan kan du ha din lunch enligt ditt val av restaurang. Vi kommer säkert att föreslå dig var du kan äta om du vill, (fortsätt annars för andra intressanta platser)
På kvällen kommer vi att gå mot Jaipur - Agra / Jaipur 250 KM - 4,5 timmars körning På vägen till Jaipur Stop → Driver kommer du att besöka dig Fatehpur Sikri, en UNESCO: s världsarvslista.
Och tar dig sedan till det andra arvssidan, dvs Abhaneri Step Well. Efteråt Kontinuerlig körning för att flytta dig tillbaka till Jaipur.
Vid ankomsten till Jaipur och med massor av goda minnen från turchauffören kommer du att släppa dig på din designerade plats i Jaipur.

We went with driver Abdul Hakim Khan and were not disappointed 🙂 Friendly, safe, spoke great English and was very knowledgeable regarding local customs and the customs, traditions and rites of the major religions. We felt well informed and taken care of. Recommended 👍🏻

Finally took time to checkout one of my bucket list spots Taj Mahal. My stay in India was short, and this one day trip worked out very well and SO grateful to have found the Rajasthan discovery who made it happen. But a big heads-up on time, be extremely watchful as it's a lot of things packed within a day, I doubt if anyone has managed to cover all the places listed in tour package( we skipped Mehatb bagh, Agra Fort). Taj Mahal itself is such a beauty that you wouldn't want to compromise on your time in there. Planning to visit early is best thing to avoid crowds and also booking tickets online will beat all the hassle free entry. Unfortunately that day due to some foreign minister visit, Taj wasn’t open until late afternoon. My visit was little rushed and super crowded, the tour guide was extremely helpful. Tip: If you are indian citizen, request to book your ticket on make my trip prior to getting there and be on time to enter.Due to tight itinerary/time constraint we had to leave out Agra fort and Mehtab bagh. Stop by at a souvenir shop only if you want something else it might get very late to head back to Jaipur. Note: you only get tour guide for major spots with this package- Fateh sikri and Taj and rest on your own! Abdul was nice and easy to reach on whats app. Gave recommendations for hotels and places to visit. Very punctual and respectful! Ayan was our driver and he was extremely warm, welcoming and took care of us greatly,while ensuring utmost safety(amazing driving skills). He arrived earlier than our pick up time, gave tips when dropped off us at each stop. He was attentive and respectful. We recommend Rajasthan discovery for any services within or outside Jaipur

We recently toured with Rajasthan discovery for a day trip to Agra and had a great experience. A big warning be extremely watchful of the time as it's a lot of things to pack within a day. Taj Mahal in itself is such a beauty that you wouldn't want to compromise on your time in there. I would suggest to save in time by leaving early and grabbing a very quick lunch. It's a pretty tight itinerary and we had to leave out a few things since Taj Mahal was the main highlight for us. Stop by at a souvenir shop only if you want something else it might get difficult to head back to Jaipur. Ayan was our driver and he was extremely warm, welcoming and took care of us greatly while ensuring utmost safety.
