Such a special and classy place. The students who work there are so professional and kind. They clearly love what they do and love the people they serve and appreciate the opportunity to pay for their education through the experience. Just a great place all around to be with friends and family.
Jayden our tour guide was awesome he did such an amazing job all the workers in the different village set ups where so friendly and kind the experience was truly really special. What a blessing to have a place like this exist. The breath of life show at the end was the cherry on top. I love Polynesian cultural center.

We arrived a bit late as there was a ton of traffic. I advise you leave early if you come at all. The ride did offer scenic views of the mountains and beaches featured in the Jurassic Park movie. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. The show was beautiful and interesting. Our server, James was fantastic and very accommodating. Unfortunately the food was not very good. The meat was lacking in flavor and the sides were lackluster i. general. The purple bread was freshly baked and warm and was certainly the best thing available. The pina coladas inside the pineapple were delicious and a nice touch. The desserts looked lovely, but my mother saw a roach crawling out of one and it was over for me at that point. I am sorry to say that overall it was not worth the trip.

Food at luau was not very good. Shrimp was dry and not warm. Pork was good but chicken wasn’t warm and dry.
I had the most incredible experience at the center. I felt connected while visiting all the cultures, hearing stories, and watching performances, and the tour guide was phenomenal. I think it is an awesome idea to give all students who work at the center a chance to share their ancestors' backgrounds with the world. Those attending the university should encourage the audience to share each cultural experience with the world.

Although the venue is gorgeous, it's the people that makes this place so special. I'm grateful for how warmly and openly they shared their culture with our family. One would usually have to travel thousands of miles to have such intimate experiences with these island nations. The evening show, "Ha," showcases these island nations and is undoubtedly the best polynesian show on the planet. Bonus? The PCC allows students (the cultural presenters/employees) from many developing island nations access to a first class education! We also loved the free tour of the temple!! (Ask for it at the entrance.) No ka oi!
