Turnén börjar klockan 8 från ditt boende i Belgrad.
Efter 2 timmars bilresa kommer du till Golubac fästning byggd på 1300-talet och ligger vid ingången till Iron Gate National Park där Donau är bredast och naturen är grönast.
Lepenski Vir, arkeologisk plats i närheten är nästa på vår rutt. Denna fantastiska plats är en av de äldsta urbana bosättningarna i Europa, befolkad för 8000 år sedan.
Turen fortsätter med en naturskön bilresa genom Iron Gate Gorge, den längsta ravinen i Europa, som består av fyra raviner och tre dalar. Den vackraste ravinen är Mali och Veliki Kazan där Donau smalnar av till endast 140 m och når djupet på mer än 90 m. Vi stannar vid utsiktsplatsen bredvid vägen för att du ska kunna beundra den mest fantastiska delen av Donau. Här får du också en fantastisk möjlighet att se världens berömda sevärdhet - Statyn av kung Decebalus, Dacias siste kung, som representerar den högsta klippskulpturen i Europa.

Upphämtningsplatser och tider
Upphämtning organiseras från 07:30 till 08:00. Upphämtning erbjuds från centralt belägna Belgrad hotell, lägenheter, vandrarhem, etc. (upp till 5 km från Republic Square). Guiden väntar inte längre än 5 minuter efter utsatt upphämtningstid. Om ditt boende ligger i huvudzonen för fotgängare kan du bli ombedd att träffa guiden på upphämtningsplatsen som ligger högst 2 minuters promenad från ditt boende. Plocka upp detaljer du får dagen före avresa via e-post eller Whats App inte före 17:00.

Very good tour with the best guide Jelena and an excellent driver. Lots of information to get about history and nature from Jelena. Great viewpoints on the border between Serbia and Romania.

It was a great tour, combined history, amazing nature , some trekking. Our guide Nina and driver Ljubos made our trip very pleasant. We could enjoy the best views of the valley and rivers. We were provided with bottled cold water, we had testing of 2 kind of rakia( Serbian drink), tickets were included to the trip price. I highly recommend this excursion and this team!

I have made 2 full day tours: Iron Gate National Park and Gems of Eastern Serbia. I liked both the tours, they are very interesting to explore the Serbia on the east. The guides Nina and Jelena were very nice. I really enjoyed with them. Also the driver (Ranko) was fantastic. He always drives professional with the correct speed. I really advice to explore the Serbia with this agency

Golubac Fortress was the one landmark I really wanted to see outside of Belgrade during my trip to Serbia, so I was glad Serbia Inspired Tours was flexible, allowing the tour to still operate even though we were below the minimum participant number with a surcharge. Jelena was informative and energetic, and our driver, Milan, made the tour extra special by sharing his rakia. In general, it was fantastic spending the day with both of them. The drive to the national park is long, but it's well worth it with the amount of stops this company makes.

Jelena was a fabulous guide and Ranko was an excellent driver. Glubac Fortress was windy but worth the visit. The Palace had wonderful exhibits, a movie, and some medieval weaponry. We went to a wonderful archeological site that was very informative. Jelena put us through our paces on a hike to a fantastic overlook. The statue of Decelabus was amazing. A highlight for me. After visiting several sights we went to a lovely restaurant with terrific food and service, Mirocka Dolina. Definitely try the stuffed mushrooms and fried cheese with honey. The end to a marvelous day.

Our guide, Jelena, was amazing. Our driver, Ranko, was very nice and drove safely. Golubac Fortress is marvelous. We walked up into some ramparts for some spectacular views of the Danube River at its widest. There was an art exhibit in the palace and some medieval relics. Two people were dressed in period pieces and they let us hold a falcon. Our next stop was a very interesting archeological site. Unearthed in the mid-1960s by students from Belgrade University. Next we took a long hike to a spectacular overlook of the river. Then we went to the narrowest part of the Danube and continued to an overlook of Decebalus, a giant stone carving in the gorge in Iron Gate National Park. Magnificent!!! After a couple more stops Jelena took us to the Mirocka Dolina restaurant to eat. We shared fried cheese with honey, mushrooms stuffed with cheese, tomato, and ham. Then we had a schnitzel, Serbian style. It is meat, pork for ours, with cheese in the middle, rolled, breaded, and fried. It was served with french fries. Everything was delicious. I can't say enough about how wonderful this trip is.
