Känd lokalt som Millionaires Viewpoint måste detta vara två av de mest natursköna scenerna i Highlands of Scotland. Namnet kommer från entreprenören Andrew Carnaigie som hemma var Skibo-slottet. Det sägs att han skulle ta med alla sina besökande vänner till denna punkt för att visa dem vyerna.
Dunrobin Castle är ett ståtligt hem i Sutherland, i Highland-området i Skottland, och familjens säte för Earl of Sutherland och klanen Sutherland. De mest synliga däggdjuren vid Loch Fleet är sälar: vanliga sälar kan ses från den allmänna vägen vid Skelbo året runt, och grå sälar besöker under vintermånaderna. Otter och pipistrelle fladdermöss finns också här, tillsammans med andra typiska skotska land däggdjur som rådjur, räv, tallmarten och weasel. Röda ekorrar och skotska vildkatter har registrerats i området,
Namnet "Dornoch" härstammar från gäliska för "småsten plats", vilket antyder att området innehöll småsten på en näve (dorn) som därför kan användas som vapen. [4] Dornoch har trettonhundratalets Dornoch-katedralen, Gamla stanens fängelse och det tidigare Bishop's Palace, som nu är det välkända hotellet, Dornoch Castle och en anmärkningsvärd golfbana, Royal Dornoch Golf Club, som utsetts till den femte bästa golfbanan utanför Förenta staterna. Det är också anmärkningsvärt eftersom det sista stället en häxa brändes i Skottland. Hennes namn rapporterades som Janet Horne; hon dömdes och dömdes till döds 1727. Wonderful trip with Roger our guide & driver. We stopped at many beautiful spots, from falls to scenic overlooks, to cathedrals. There were only 6 of us, so had a very comfortable ride too. Roger was very informative & funny, & made the tour so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Very flexible if you want to make changes along the way. Very small group. Only six people in a van. Very comfortable. George was very knowledgeable of area and history.

It was exactly as described. The Scottish countryside was beautiful and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Dunrobin castle is a must see and we also enjoyed the whiskey tour. Great way to see this part of Scotland!

Hands down, one of the best tours we have taken in Scotland! Our guide was a wealth of information and tailor made everything to exactly what we wanted— more or less time at the various sites. As we were off the cruise ship he was also very cognizant of our all-aboard time and got us back to the ship with time to spare! Highly recommend this to one and all! A great tour! And George was the best guide as well— if you get a chance take his tour!!!

George was a fantastic tour guide! He was charismatic, knowledgeable, good natured, and pretty much knew everyone on the route! He was kind enough to take us on the tour even though there were only 2 of us that day. He did a great job of tying together the historical places and facts. A really fun day!

Bob was our guide (George, the owner mentioned in many other reviews, was leading a tour van we were trailing most of the time), and while Bob was friendly and allowed us complete flexibility, he felt more like a private driver than a guide, often giving anecdotes on previous groups he'd driven and sometimes pulling out his phone to do spot research but not providing much of his own commentary. It did not matter to us but he was also not kilted and was driving a personal car so no Wi-Fi as stated in the listing. George did not actually recognize Bob's car so this might have just been a one off thing.
HI , The reason i did not know Bobs car was he recently changed it , And i had no idea it did not have wi~fi as you state . I did have a other driver lined up for this tour ,but the other party of 4 cancelled , and the driver with the bigger vehicle would not do only 2 persons Bob does his own Tours and i have used him before with no issues . It is very difficult to get a party of 2 covered Which i did rather than cancel your booking Sorry if you were slightly disappointed
Great tour! George was a great tour guide. He was able to modify our trip to include seeing some golf courses along with the other must sees in Northern Scotland.
